Teams from 14 countries competed on Global Gamification Hackathon, and each team was accompanied by gamification experts as team partners for 48 hours.
Ahmed Hossam(EGY), Aysu Erensoy(NZ), Donghyun Lee(KOR), Deepti Jain (IND), Fidan Rustamli (AZ), Kerem Yazici (TR), Betul Aras Bayir (RU), Ehab Abu Dayeh (JO), Dainius Zviedrys(LTU), Yenal Yildirim (KKTC), Yasemin Dincoflaz (COL), Dogancan Sokmen (UK), and Derya Yesilyurt shared their expertise to support teams to prepare a real gamification project in a 48-hour period.
The 48-hour Global Gamification Hackathon continued on Discord, and teams had the opportunity to have mentoring sessions with great experts.
Pete Baikins, Niels van der Linden, Marcin Kosciak, Ricardo Lopes Costa, Florina Jelescu, Vasilis Gkogkidis, Rob Alvarez, Umut Ersarac, and Ridvan Saglam shared their times with the teams as Global Gamification Hackathon mentors.
Global Gamification Hackathon started on March 10, with opening speeches from world-renowned gamification pioneers like Yu-Kai Chou, Andrzej Marchewski, Roman Rackwitz, Dr. Michael Wu, Monica Cornetti, Bernardo Letayf, Ercan Altug Yilmaz, Adrian Hon, Bart Hufen, Albert van der Meer, Olcayto Cengiz, Slyvester Arnab, and Alireza Ranjbar Shourabi.
Global Gamification Hackathon took place online on March 10-11-12.
With this first Gamification Hackathon on a global scale, all participants tried to produce gamified solutions by working with world-renowned experts for 48 hours.
