~Dressing up fun for all~
Our OOSC Holiday club children have loved using our dressing up table dressing themselves, their friends and their soft toys up.

- SCIENCE EXPERIMENTS-
Our holiday club children love being given opportunities to experiment in many different ways.
Here they created their own tin foil boats to experiment with sinking and floating.

"Wonder! Children need opportunities to practice feeling wonder to develop curious minds."

-Games with friends-

One of the things that children love about coming to Nature Garden holiday club is that they get time to play with friends younger and older than them.

Our younger children love when the older children teach them how to play different games, and our older children love helping the younger children to learn new things.

3 cups of corn flour
1.5 cups of water
6 cups of fine clean sand

- Team games-

This week the children have been learning a variety of indoor and outdoor games that they can play with their friends.

-Gardening club-

As part of our gardening club this term our Out of School club children have loved seeing the process of growing different fruit and vegetables.

Today we harvested some of the tomatoes and enjoyed them for our snack.

~ Owl Awareness Day ~
Yesterday was Owl Awareness Day. We created some lovely owl art masks, clay owls and baked delicious chocolate owl nests

-Sports skills-

The Summer Olympics is a great hit with all our children at the moment, so they have loved wanting to try a variety of sports and skills.
So during our summer holiday sessions this week the children have been developing their skills in different ball games.

- Forest School-

Today's summer holiday club children enjoyed some cooling time outdoors in our Forest school.
They played on the rope swing, rope climbing wall, made some delicious mud pies in the mud kitchen and helped with taking care of all our crops.

From 7:30 am to 6 pm, your child will embark on a journey of self-discovery and fun, exploring a wide range of hands-on experiences and imaginative play.

-OLYMPIC GAMES PARIS 2024-
Today the children watched synchronised diving and football at the Tokyo Olympics, then designed their own team kits.

-OLYMPIC GAMES PARIS 2024-

Our Olympic themed holiday club has got off to a flying start today.
The children first watched a long jump and Archery competition at the Tokyo Olympics, then when outside they recreated their own Olympic Games with the Archery and Long Jump competition.

The children found out lots of interesting facts about the long jump and archery. Did you know that the Archers shoot a distance of 70 Meters? The children were amazed when we discovered just how far that was in our garden.

We still have spaces available for our holiday club sessions next week, so contact us today if you would like to book your child in for any sessions.

Reception have enjoyed our new fishing game this afternoon

-Did you know 16th July is World Snake Day?-
World Snake day aims to increase awareness regarding the 3,500 species of Snakes around the world.

To celebrate the occasion our Out of School club Children enjoyed a paper craft session in which they created Snakes in different ways using paper.

The children have enjoyed the new dressing table this afternoon and have been giving each other makeovers

At Out of School Club the children love joining in with team games. Tonight they enjoyed playing a variety of calm ring games, whilst trying to keep cool!

This week the children have loved supporting different countries during the euros, as well as seeing their favourite players play and talking about different football skills.
