We are recruiting for a Fencing Estimator.

Hours: Monday to Thursday 08:15 – 16:30, Friday 08:15 – 15:00
Location: Bedwas, Caerphilly
Contract: Permanent

Are you a competent, methodical and enthusiastic Estimator? If so, we are interested in hearing from you.

Procter Brothers is a UK leader in manufacturing security and perimeter fencing and we are looking for someone with proven experience Estimating and who is familiar with undertaking the following responsibilities:

Responsibilities:

* Estimating
* Offering value engineering to customers
* Take off drawings (measuring fencelines and gate sizes)
* Negotiating with customers
* Liaising with purchasing department for up to date prices
* Liaising with suppliers for prices
* Taking incoming enquiry calls
* Liaising with Contracts team ensuring a full handover from sales to contracts, and job cost review upon completion of job.
* Prioritising workload and assisting in bringing down quote/order book.
* Assisting Commercial Manager

* Excellent people and communication skills
* Excellent time management skills
* The ability to work well in a team
* Assertiveness at all levels
* Excellent IT skills
* Able to work efficiently and meet required deadlines under pressure
* Excellent attention to detail
* Excellent organisational skills
* Build good, professional relationships with all staff.
* You may be required to drive to any of the company vehicles as and when requested (ie. to visit various company sites and client sites) therefore, a valid, full driving license must be held at all times.
