This looks good!

I am not about to burn this book! Just read it by a fire pit. It’s for 8-12 years but rather enjoyed it! Clever idea to get kids to understand government and make them think what they would do if they ran a country. Written by a Dad who had young kids asking all sorts of questions during the pandemic. Let’s encourage some cracking leaders for the next gen!

It is so, so important to keep reading to your child, even if they can read reasonably well for themselves.

It's important.

Worried about lost learning?
Concerned your child may be struggling with reading, spelling or maths?
Perhaps they need some professional help with their schoolwork?
Or does your child just need a confidence boost from a friendly and supportive teacher?

I currently have some tuition spaces and am able to travel to you to deliver high quality 1:1 tuition for children of primary age.

All you need to provide is a safe, enclosed space for lessons. This could be a home office, annexe or holiday cottage/caravan. The space needs to have a suitable table and chairs, be reasonably warm and easy to sanitise before and after use. All Covid safety measures will be followed.

Lessons cost £25, to include travel within a 5 mile radius of Herbrandston. Mileage then charged at a sensible rate for further journeys.

Pm me for further information or to request a call to discuss options.

This looks lots of fun and should be really interesting. Manor House is our local wildlife park here in Pembrokeshire.

📚FREE Online Learning Resources📚

Thank you for taking the time to complete our recent survey surrounding your schools learning needs. We recognise the difficulty for teachers (and students) as you grapple with the world of online learning.

As a wildlife park we usually welcome 1000s of students through our doors every year and despite the lockdowns we still have a duty to aid in educating and inspiring the next generation, even though our doors are closed.

With this in mind, we are pleased to announce that from this week we will be offering FREE educational online outreach sessions. Each session will be around 20minutes long and will allow students the chance to meet some of the parks animals as well as ask any questions they may have with a member of our team. These sessions are open for students of all ages.

What do you have to do?

Education for Life, not just for School

Is your child struggling at school? Do they lack confidence or self esteem? Maybe they are finding their education dull and uninspiring and need some additional stretch and challenge?

At Creative Home Tutoring we aim to support your child in their learning and find ways to make them feel good about their abilities and talents. We can provide summer school booster sessions, ideal for building confidence in the new school year, or regular weekly lessons to boost progress in English and Maths. We can also help your child to develop their concentration and thinking skills, which impact on all areas of learning.

Lessons can be tailored to the individual, or taken in small groups. Discounts are available for booking a course of five hourly sessions. Outdoor learning can be incorporated for the younger children, which has been proven to engage them in a way that books and pens can’t.

A strong teaching and headteaching background of over 30 years, mainly in the independent sector, has allowed me to develop a set of creative teaching skills that can engage even the most reluctant learner. Positive self image and the confidence to try is vital if children are to succeed in life, and this is where Home Tutoring can really help.
