I have had chance to think about my pricing over the holidays and after some market research, and as always I’m under selling myself. So I will be revising my prices!

Remember you don’t have to wait until big occasions like Christmas. These are perfect for birthday gifts or even a random act of kindness… to a loved one or yourself! 👀

I have thought long and hard about my price list… weighing up how much people are actually willing to pay versus the quality I am producing. On average I will spend roughly 6.5 hours on each portrait and when considering minimum wage this will come to over £50. As other small business know it is a very difficult and fine line when pricing because I need to make sure the cost is worth my time but the customer also feels they aren’t being over charged. I have had rather a few customers “ghost” when they find the price out, which is very unfortunate as I genuinely feel I am giving a very good service for the price I charge.

So I have come up with a handy price guide for my lovely existing and potential customers to use when considering to commission me or not!

Please be considerate towards us small business. We have often thought very hard about our pricing as it’s not very easy to profit unless we charge far higher than what we do!

I have been working on something really really exciting! After lots of market research (and by that I mean friends and family) I have found out that people LOVE themselves a good pet portrait.

I wanted to use this page of mine as I have enough of an audience to get them seen and try growing from there!

So I’m really proud to introduce my new line of creativity! As this is still a new project I have not decided on set prices yet but encourage you all to message and we can decide a price according to what you might be after.

If you are after Christmas presents I ask you to order well in advance as these portraits do take time in becoming as high quality as I can offer!

Was so so wonderful filming for ITV News today! Really excited to show the rest of the world my cute and funky hats I’ve been working on for the past year! 🤩

Don’t you just LOVE it?! Why do sunflowers feature in all the hats? Because I love them and thats that 💕🥳 I feel like my hats have really progressed and they just keep getting better. I am taking orders and this one is up for sale! 🌻🌼🌸 🌻

💕 A little bit behind the pricing of my hats 💕

“Sorry, they’re too expensive- maybe next time”

Thats a little bit hard to hear over and over again, leading to a temporary price reduction. Because I LOVE making them and seeing the happy customers that are happy to pay my prices.

First consideration, I have to include the price of the actual hat, and some brands are more pricey than others!

Secondly, each hat can take me anywhere up to 10/15 HOURS because they are ✨hand embroidered✨ and a lot of work goes in to them. If I based my hats upon minimum wage you’d be paying upwards of £130. BUT I don’t even double my profits from each hat because people think even at full price of about £45/50 they are too expensive. From a hat that takes me 15 hours to make... I typically earn about £1.25 an hour...

So for the amount of work that goes in to them, I think they are very reasonably priced starting from £45. I have to consider what people deem to be reasonable and also balance it with my own opinion to get to a happy medium.

With that being said! Buy one while they are on sale! They’re gorgeous and I wear mine all the time!
