Our newly developed Certificate of Higher Education and Foundation Degree in English Studies are designed to allow you to explore English in a world where language is increasingly fluid and crucial in the workplace.

Mental health problems can start in early years, even if they don’t present any symptoms. The environment children grow up in and their ability to handle the pressures and stresses of growing up all play an important part in preventing problems developing as they grow up.
Starting on 6th June, this qualification is designed for those who wish to understand mental health in young children in the early years (from birth to 5 years old).

Adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) are traumatic events occurring before age 18. This includes all types of abuse and neglect as well as parental mental illness, substance use, divorce, incarceration, and domestic violence.
Starting on the 6th June the qualification will help you to develop an understanding of adverse childhood experiences and will equip you with basic understanding of techniques for preventing and addressing adverse childhood experiences in practice.
