Mary's Mindful Podcast
A podcast series with thoughts, ideas, hacks and opinions. It's all about being mindful about other things than the 'C' word.
There's more to life than that, so let's explore our thoughts and actions in the comfort of our home.
Hi guys,
I hope you're well.
Sorry I've been away. I had a brutal start of the year when I lost my father.
He is resting in peace and no longer in pain.
Since his sudden passing, I had to take some time away to look after my family, especially my mother. I quit my job and took time out to readjust to a life without my father being present.
10 months later, I feel like I'm in the position to begin my podcast again.
I'll be publishing an episode very soon.
Thanks for your patience and continued support.
Mary.
I wrote this, so I'm going to leave this right here in case you're curious about and .
Right now Tony is doing free virtual coaching from 21st-25th at 7pm GMT. We are on day 2 and I highly recommend you come onboard.

Have a good weekend!
How often are we afraid to ask for help?
If there is one thing I’ve learned in my career that I would tell my younger self it would be: it’s not what you know, it is who you know.
Did it ever occur to you that potentially every person you work with and meet at the workplace can teach you something new?
Often people come across a problem and think that going online and googling for a solution will give them the best answer. Or paying someone they don’t know will make life easier.
Yet what they don’t realise is that they are better off speaking to someone they already know.
Ask yourself, how can I help someone right now? Or, what free advice can I offer my network today?

The first week of January 2021 is almost over, and we've witnessed some devastating events.
For me and millions globally, this has forced us to seek ways to manage our stress levels and mental health.
In this podcast episode, I go through a unique breathing exercise with you, which anyone can try, for 3-5 minutes every day, and experience a notable difference.
I explain in detail the benefits of breathing, from our immunity, general well-being as well as our physiology.
I'll also share some information about mental health and stress using statistics from the NHS (National Health Service (UK), ONS (Office of National Statistics) and end with a parting quote.
Tune in. Let me know what you think.

More details:
Welcome to my first podcast! Happy New Year!
Today, it's the first of January: the day everyone has been waiting for.
Recording from England (UK), I'll give you a sneak peak of what life is like on the first day of the year living under Tier 4 restrictions.
Having recently picked up the book 'The One Thing' by Gary Keller, I ask the question about whether we need New Year Resolutions any more, or whether we should incorporate healthier habits instead?
Tune in and let me know what you think.
