WIRE SCULPTURE OPPORTUNITY.
We have just had our fencing replaced and have loads of pig and chicken wire that is going begging.
So if you are a budding artist looking for a project or a student looking for an opportunity to create something special, we may have just the thing for you.
As a CIC we would love it if someone wanted to create a sculpture on our land near Chaddesley Corbett.
If someone wanted to recycle the wire and complete their project elsewhere that is also fine, you are welcome to collect the wire and take it away.
PM me if interested. Helene

Just wanted to say a MASSIVE THANK YOU to all our amazing volunteers for all their hard work on Saturday.
Maggie and I can as cannot believe that we got our bell tent erected, new shed up, hay barn and toilet painted, chippings spread out round the raised beds and lots of the wire removed from the old fence.
It really is quite humbling that people gladly give up their Saturday so that we can have a better place to help and support vulnerable children and adults.
We are truly blessed to have friends like you all.πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸŒŸπŸŒŸπŸ΄πŸ΄

We have the following things to do
Put up bell tent
Put slabs down for shed base
Put up new shed
Raised beds to be filled
Plants to be planted
Buildings to be painted.
In exchange we will provide home made cakes, tea and coffee and BBQ for lunch
We really could do with a hand if you are around, any time between 10am and 4pm.
Let me know if you can come along so we can make sure we have plenty of food 🫢🫢

Statistics indicate an upward trend in feelings of isolation. Loneliness can creep in for various reasons, sometimes without a clear causeβ€”it's just a feeling we experience. Life events like losing a loved one, whether through a breakup or bereavement, can amplify this feeling. Other changes, caring for a newborn, dealing with a long-term health condition, or becoming a full-time caregiver, can also lead to loneliness. For more information on how connecting up with us can help, please message or contact us through the website.

Busy day getting our outdoor area ready for the summer. 4 lots of membrane put down, 10 to go. First lot of chippings delivery and started to spread out, only 8 more to go. Will be fab when we have finished.

07/02/2024

Shout out to any tree surgeons looking to get rid of wood chippings. We desperately need some for our outside area where we work with the horses so the children who come to us can work without the mud.
Probably need 5 to 6 loads to Chaddesley Corbett.

A huge thank you to Karen Peters who came to offer Angelic Reiki to our herd today. Autumn stayed with Karen for a good 3/4 hour and lay down and even snored!! Karen uses a combination of Angelic Reiki and Trust Technique. As you can see our other herd members Luna and Sh**un stayed close throughout the healing session.
