Is ‘culture washing’ something you’ve come across within the workplace before?

Workplace culture washing is where an organisation claims to have a strong and positive culture yet the reality is a very different story.

Although often not intentional, examples of culture washing are rife and can have disastrous consequences in terms of the company’s credibility and employee engagement.

Co-founder of Best Workplaces in Travel, Jane Sunley recently spoke about culture washing at the BTA People & Talent Conference. She has put together a helpful blog that delves into the details of culture washing and how to ensure your organisation avoids it.
