That’s it for 2022!! What a year it’s been. What we thought was going to be a steady year, and us both saying we’re not buying anything this year. Well that turned out to be no truth in that 🤣. Our plant was sure in high demand, adding a couple more 14t excavators, and a hand full of dumpers ranging from 3t-10t. Roll on next year to see what that brings👍. Thank you to all our customers, It’s much appreciated .

Merry Christmas & a happy new year to everyone 🍻

Happy birthday to us. 5 whole years of me and Shaun working non stop to achieve what we’ve got today. It certainly hasn’t happened over night. We started off with nothing, just the work ethic saying we can do this. no 9-5 job. Going to work most days at 6 in the morning. And still working pass 10/11 at night. thank you to everyone who has supported us over the years It’s much appreciated. Here’s to the next 5 years.

Thanks to Molson Equipment Matthew Jon Wilson for the great service once again. more pictures to follow, as we needed a rubber dinghy today, rather then a machine! 😂⛈️🛶🛟

Templecombe

Reinforced Substation

Lads have been busy this week! Reduce dug, and stoned up ready for the shuttering to be landed. The lads cracking on with the shuttering, all done in house. Then on with the steel fixing, no tie wire allowed on this one, all had to be welded. Ready for the base to be poured Monday morning, so we can finish off the rest of the shuttering for the next pour.

Pumping station

Due to design change, we had to go back to the pumping station to install an additional storage tank to up the capacity. Didn’t have the time to order precast for this one, so traditional was the way forward. A nice 5m dig again, with plenty of rock and water to contend with. Base poured yesterday, giving us a good go at it today. Holes core drill and pipe installed this morning, then backfilled and compacted in layers. Fair play to the lads for getting this one done so quickly. So we can get on with the next job 👍

Templecombe

Work started on the pumping station middle of last week. Finally got it all installed today, turned out to be a tricky one. At its deepest we were 7m in the ground, with just over 3m of rock to break through to get there. With plenty of water making it’s way in. All pumping station was precast, so was dealing with some proper weight. The heaviest section weighing in at 10t. But fair play to the lads, all stuck at it through the sun and the rain. To get the job done. Now ready to hand over to the pumping company, to finish there install. So we can pour the concrete slab. 👍

Phase 2 Templecombe

Tarmac finally down, giving a nice clean access to phase 2.
Little change for us, was meant to be doing the head walls. But been asked to make a start on the pumping station. With a lovely depth of 6 meters.
