Happy World Menopause Day!

The purpose of World Menopause Day is to raise awareness on the menopause and support options for improving health and wellbeing.

I'm shouting out loud as it is a topic that needs to be discussed. I started Peri-menopause in my mid 40s and I'm conscious of the effects and how people are not widely educated about treatments.

I lost my mum to uneducated doctors who should have known better. She suffered from heritary blood clotting this couldn't take the old fashioned 'pill'. When my mum visited our family male doctor he prescribed her with HRT and 2 weeks later she died of an aneurysm and stroke. I'm making sure I'm better informed to ensure my doctors don't make the same mistake.

We were notified this morning of changes that take effect from 13 October 2022. Due to the rise in costs of living globally we cannot avoid it any longer - the costs of transportation and wholesale costs have risen enormously - we've seen this in our petrol prices, supermarkets... So what's this business all about? Why do I do it?
Well most of you know I started buying the haircare products for my family - for medical reasons, for regrowth. Then an opportunity came up to meet some of my friend's team. They were all really lovely, genuine and came from different backgrounds and had various reasons for joining the business.
At the time I was drifting with my small business and struggling finding suitable work to compliment my family commitments.
I discussed the idea with my husband and we decided I'd give it a go for the following reasons: 1. The products definitely worked (we had personal evidence)

3. There was no pressure to sell, completely on my own terms
4. The team interaction - having daily chats online and supporting each other - something I missed as a work from home/ small business mum
