Coffee van roaming the valleys and villages in and near Dartmoor, Devon We aim to have regular stops in multiple villages around Exeter.

Holy Fool is a coffee van, serving speciality coffee out of a converted Mitsubishi Carry. To discover where and when we stop keep an eye on our social media pages. Holy Fool’s primary aim as a business is to enable men leaving prison to find work and serve good coffee to the villages we live in. By employing men leaving the prison system we believe we can enable effective reintegration through mentorship and employment.

Our little van is immobile, but we’ll be basing ourselves in our local village Dunsford on Tuesday and Thursday mornings through January! Please do come and warm your fingers with a coffee, we’d love to see familiar and new faces! Starting next week.

🚨 We are back in Dunsford! We have pulled some strings, tweaked some bolts and whilst the van is not fully functioning we are back in the village this week.

For the final week of term, we will be serving coffees, in the morning between the hours of 8.30—9.30. Come along a grab a cup while you can!

We are so excited to be serving in a village again. 🎉

We are so excited to be making coffee again this weekend! Whilst the van is still out of action we have a workaround for the folks at Christmas market this Sunday 🙌 Pop in and say hi from 11–3! 🎄🎅 ☕️

Van update: unfortunately the mechanics have continued to have issues with the engine even after replacing a number of parts, and the source of the problem remains a mystery. We’re very sorry and sad to have been out of the villages for 3 months now. We’re rethinking on the viability of our little van but still hoping for a new lease of life before it passes on. Thanks for all your support! Stay tuned for developments.

A little update from us: we’re still waiting on the part for the van to make it’s way from Japan to Devon to get fitted, when the van can spring back into life again ready for the start of the September term. So we’re hopefully back on our weekly rhythm with the villages the week starting Monday 4th, and we’ll also be at Tedburn St Mary fair on Saturday 9th. Can’t wait to get back to it!

The van is sadly still off the road, patiently awaiting it’s part to arrive from Japan. See our last post for more info. We have, however, managed to do a couple of events by just packing our machines up and setting up on tables in marquees, so if you have an event you’d like coffee served at don’t hesitate to get in touch and we’ll see if we can make it work!
