Army Rising Live Recording :: 26/27 Apr 2024

In January we’re going to be hosting an online teaching series in the Book of Revelation, going through the book verse by verse. We believe this book is incredibly significant to us in the times we’re living in and our heart for this course is to take everyone into a deeper understanding of this book and ultimately into a deeper understanding of the One who wrote it.

The sessions will run every Thursday evening, from 11th Jan - 28th March, with full teaching notes and an opportunity to chat, pray and ask questions. Registration is completely free - just head to our website (link below) to book a place and find out how to join.

BIG NEWS O’CLOCK!!

Firstly - we’re thrilled to announce that on 26/27th April next year we will be recording our second full-length album live at Greyfriars Church! This is not to be missed - so get the date in your diary now!!

Secondly, as if that wasn’t enough, starting in January and running until Easter we’re also going to be running a 12-week online teaching series in the Book of Revelation. Keep an eye out for more details coming your way soon!

On Monday we'll be joining millions of believers worldwide as we commit to 21 days of fasting and praying for Israel. Led by IHOPKC and many other ministries, we believe this Isaiah 62 fast is of huge significance as we approach the day of Jesus' return.

As some of you may already know, IHOPKC are hosting a global 21-day fast for Israel, starting on May 7th. They are expecting millions of believers around the world to join, and believing that God will move powerfully in Israel and among our churches as a result of this time. As we've prayed over the last few weeks, we've felt led not only to join them in prayer each day but to host online prayer meetings throughout the fast.

HOPE.

There are many things in this world that offer us hope. Jobs, football teams, relationships, science, technology... all of these things compete for our hearts, yet none offer anything that lasts beyond this life. The hope they give is temporary, fleeting and often deceptive - at best a distraction from problems of this world that are far too big for them to solve.

Jesus did not promise us an easy life - in fact He warned us explicitly that we would encounter trials and suffering - but the hope He offers transcends all earthly circumstance and endures beyond the grave. Jesus will one day return and establish His kingdom on the earth, and we will rule and reign with Him in resurrected bodies completely free of death and sin. This is the hope He promises to those who believe in Him - and the hope a broken world is in desparate need of.

ISRAEL.

When was the last time you prayed for God to banish you to hell if it would save someone? Can you ever remember a time in your life where you would have gladly given up eternity with God for the sake of another?

"I could wish that I myself were cursed and cut off from Christ for the sake of my people, those of my own race, the people of Israel." These are Paul's very own words, found in Romans 9, as he laments the spiritual waywardness of Israel. This statement is both completely outrageous and troublingly intriguing. It demands a response from us - to take it to God and ask Him one simple question:

If Paul felt this deeply for Israel, how deeply do you feel?

THE BOOK OF REVELATION.

There is perhaps no book in the bible as controversial and shocking as the book of Revelation. Full of strange images and nightmarish visions which seem completely out of place in the New Testament, this book has often been wrongly labelled as irrelevant, dangerous and indecipherable.

Interestingly, however, the book of Revelation is the only book in the bible that commands a blessing on those who read it. Far from being irrelevant, we believe it contains truths concerning the nature and purposes of God that are critical for us to understand in this hour of history. Join The Watchmen Tour as we explore this incredible book and seek to understand what it has to say to us.

Jesus' first coming changed the whole course of history - His second will do the same again.

The Watchmen Tour explores what the bible tells us about this future event and what it means for us. We believe God wants to give His people understanding in this hour so we can prepare wisely and respond quickly to His voice.
