Fujitsu definitely needs holding to account as part of the full investigation into the post office scandal.
Post Office IT firm Fujitsu reports £22m UK profits as directors receive payouts Company under fire over its Horizon system, which gave false impression post office operators had stolen cash
Having worked in IT Projects/IT operations for over 25 years the lack of formal governance and IT controls around system access to the Horizon system is literally criminal incompetence. I fully support removal of the CBE for Paula Vennells and full investigation with prosecution of the Post Office board responsible during this period.

Happy new year!
As the year draws to a close I want to pay tribute to the NHS staff who helped my dad recently after he was taken into Colchester hospital.
The skill and care shown was second to none in the emergency and high dependency unit and I got to witness much of it first hand. Without their intervention and the quick thinking Ambulance staff too the outcome could’ve been much less positive.
Let’s all think about and thank those staff in all professional services working New year to keep us all secure, healthy and safe in the hope we won’t need to call on their services.
Enjoy whatever you’re doing and whoever you’re spending it with and see you all in 2024.
