Not the tallest cake I’ve designed but the one my team and I needed nerves of steel for. We had 30 minutes to assemble this at Kensington Palace atop ladders (it was 6ft 8”) and we had to make sure we didn’t in anyway touch the £multimillion painting of Charles I behind it. Tick tock... yes 30 minutes and dignitaries from across the globe walking in at the 30th minute.

And I had to shimmy into a ball gown and take my seat at this same event immediately after set up

It happened. Thank God ♥️💃🏾
