Dr Naila is among one of the Consultants In UK who hold extra qualifications compared to average consultants working in the fields of Medicine .
She has MBBS, MRCP , MRCEM, FRCEM& Diploma In Geriatric Medicine from Royal College Of Physicians UK.
She is now going to lead Pakistan Society Of Geriartic Medicine

Currently Geriatric Medicine Is No Where In Pakistan.
I am not sure , we may have 2-3 Geriatric Consultants working in PvT setups … but as a whole we don’t have any separate Geriatric Department in any hospital ..
I really think it’s a need of time to invest our time and energy into this project.
Start creating awareness … let’s start rolling this ball….Inshallah In next 5- 10 years time we may be able to change things the way we changed in Emergency Medicine..
Alhamdulliah I am glad Allaha Has given me this opportunity to launch first ever academic platform for Geriatric Medicine In Pakistan.
