Another fairly large building scanned, cleaned and registered. Exporting over the weekend, ready for the cad/bim team to start Monday.

P40 & RTC360 both back out on site in and around Krakow next week.

Great feature in Cyclone Register 360 - the visual links between scans.

Now to import to Core to clean and register with the other 1600+ set ups.

Couldn't handle Reg360 any longer. It's great for visual links etc between scans, especially rtc360 data using vis & Field360.

But too slow cleaning, a nightmare to find which bundles specific scan numbers are (we are at 1000+).... and open groups of scans to check/qc doesn't appear possible in the version I'm running.

Back to core for all the keyboard short cuts, and registration numbers!

Extremely busy February and March in both Scotland & Poland for M3S Surveys.

The team have been carrying out measured building surveys, topos and getting those hard to scan roofs with the UAV allowing our photogrammetry experts to extract the line work.

Yet another extremely busy year in UK & Poland done n dusted and already in to February 2024.

BUT extremely quiet online and across our socials….. as many of our clients enjoy their privacy, (flexible working hours, no photos, no sharing data online for the world to see etc) – they all appreciate our radio silence on their projects.

We do have some additional availability coming up for laser scanning and photogrammetry jobs in the coming months due expansion – from improved software work flows, hardware upgrades and additional staff we are able to take on more work yet still deliver within the time frame given.

While our scanners are away for their annual calibration we are happy to help with the processing of point clouds to BIM and MBS drawings

Long shifts with the Leica P40, efficient cleaning /reg in Cyclone will allow the CAD/Revit work to start Monday.

🇬🇧 The RTC360 witnessed its first "crime scene" a few weeks back.....

🇬🇧 Cyclone on the tablet or phone when using the RTC360 is fairly smooth on smaller jobs. The VIS registration is usually pretty good in Cyclone Register 360 then imported to Cyclone Core for final registration and QC.

🇵🇱 Rejestracja danych z RTC w Cyclone Field na urządzeniach mobilnych całkiem się sprawdza na mniejszych projekatch. VIS zdaje się działać najlepiej w Cyclone Register 360, potem już tylko szybki import do CORE na kontrolę jakości.

These larger as built measured surveys are primarily for architects, planners & engineers. 2D plans, 3D Revit Model, IFC and LGS TruView all delivered from the one point cloud.

Większe inwentaryzacje wykonujemy głównie na zlecenie architektów, konstruktorów i projektantów. W oparciu o jedną chmurę punktów wykonujemy model 3Dw formacie Revit i IFC, rzuty 2D, oraz LGS TruView.

🇬🇧 Another scan2bim job completed – just over 1000 scans with the Leica P40. The roof was captured with a UAV. This site even had a network of underground passages, rooms and a full-size gym hall.

Our high quality point cloud data has been turned in to 2D plans in CAD, 3D model in Revit, 3D IFC and streamed in to SolidWorks via Leica CloudWorx to allow design & engineering teams to work their magic with our as built data.

Merry Christmas from all at M3S Surveys Ltd - a very busy end to the oddest year.

Apologies for the poor festive image.... we cant find a scan of a Christmas tree.... so this tree with crowds of people looking for Santa will have to do :P

**ps - it is an old scan, when bus tours existed and two pulled up to what was meant to be a site that was closed to visitors for the day 🤣🤬

Beautiful data as always from the P40 - this data is is from a few scans at no higher than 3.1mm @ 10m setting. Loaded up in Cyclone and snapshot tool used.

Always impressed with the high quality data from the Leica P40.

This data set was for archaeologists who were also carrying out close range photogrammetry.
