Can you believe that although we've been presenting the podcast together for around two years, we've never actually met?!
So yesterday, Heidi Glorious by Heidi hopped on a fast train from Cheshire to meet Ross Ross Willsher Photography in London to celebrate the fact that Your Individual Wedding Podcast has had over 10,000 downloads!!! That's 10,000 times you've listened to our guests talking about their wedding planning experiences as members of the LGBTQ+ community, or as a plus size bride, or as someone with a disability, or a black bride, or an expert offering advice on how to make adjustments and include people who are neurodiverse, or how to plan a civil ceremony, and more...
It was wonderful to finally meet, and as we've already spent hours chatting, laughing and putting the wedding world to rights, albeit through a screen, we knew that our real life meet up was going to be every bit as fabulous as it was :)

Mussara married her husband Roy just over 5 years ago in Essex, and Ross had the absolute pleasure of capturing the day.

BE UPLIFTED
Earlier this year we had the absolute pleasure of interviewing James and Heidi about what it was like planning one of the first weddings that took place after the lifting of some of the Covid restrictions.
James and Heidi are a wonderfully positive couple, so obviously in love and a great example of how having the right outlook helps you to navigate through life's unexpected moments.
They also happen to have Downs Syndrome.
This is undoubtedly one our favourite ever podcast episodes, and regardless of whether you are currently planning a wedding or not, you will be uplifted, inspired and beaming from ear to ear once you've listened to this fabulous interview.

MEET ROSS
Ross (He/Him)
Hello! I’m Ross, a professional wedding photographer, published author, obsessive ‘Great British Bake Off’ viewer, and reluctant runner. I'm dedicated to producing stylish, stress-free photography for couples who simply want to celebrate being themselves.
I'm originally from the Cotswolds and nature is my go-to cure for any stress, anxiety, or lows that can creep into all our lives from time to time.
I run regularly to keep fit and my next event is the Brighton Marathon in September 2021; I'm currently trying to eat healthily and stay in shape for that (some days are more successful than others though).
I live with my beautiful partner James and we’ve been together for over 11 years; he’s my best friend and my rock. We have been through all sorts of adventures together; some incredibly exciting, others desperately sad, but ultimately we can conquer anything as long as we are together (although it’s always best if I do the cooking and he does the ironing)!
Being in love feels incredible. I remember growing up being too ashamed and embarrassed to be myself, or come out of the closet, and now here I am, living with the man of my dreams, and helping others to celebrate finding their perfect partner too. I’m a truly lucky man and I have the best job in the world.
What I love about podcasting is being able to share my knowledge and learn so much from our guests too. I’ve recorded over 40 episodes of so far but fancied switching things up for season 5 and for the first time in my life awoke in the night with thoughts of a woman in my mind!! Instantly I knew I wanted to be alongside me for more banter, wisdom and laughs. Luckily she said yes and I’m so excited for the new chapter of the podcast.
I’m a pretty open book so if you have any questions you need answering then pop them below and I’ll happily share.
