I’m trying my best to get to as many of you as I can, but it is very much elderly, vulnerable, water coming through your ceiling first.

I’m so sorry so many of you are having bother in these crazy prolonged conditions. I’ve not seen anything like this since 2010. -12 when I left today and -12 when I returned home.

*For those able to help themselves.*

Lots of info online regarding defrosting condensates. Please be careful, don’t slip and don’t burn yourself. Hot water bottles safest method.

Not much we can do about frozen pipes at the minute. No hot (or water at all) coming out the taps has been a current theme. It’s most probably not a boiler fault!
Hopefully it thaws with no bursts.
If you are able to turn off your water stop c**k. Now is probably the time. Once off, open taps and try to get gentle heat near pipework.

Frozen sink wastes, washing machines not draining etc. You will just need to wait sorry. Some salt down waste and
as much heat in the room as you can.

Leave the messages and I will see what I can do.

Please be mindful of your elderly neighbours. If you are frozen they probably are too.

I’m not complaining about the calls. These are just some of the ones I couldn’t/didn’t. If I replied to every single call I wouldn’t get to a single person.

I’d like to wish all my customers a safe and happy festive period and all the best for 2022.

It will be two years ago in February that I decided to set up my own business and I am so grateful to everyone for helping to make it a success, during some of the most challenging times for us all.

I am now on holiday until Monday 10th January. My phone will be on for EMERGENCY calls only until then. If I can help I will. Please leave me a message.

Please note I am fully booked for installation and upgrade work until April but do get in touch in January with any enquiries for next year. I always keep space for emergency work and repairs.

Unfortunately I’ve made the decision to cancel all non priority work.

With the correct precaution I will however make myself available for emergency works. Vulnerable customers, uncontainable water leaks, and no heat/hot water, based on each individual’s circumstances. This will also be foc to customers who are not in a financial position.

New gas central heating system installed to replace an old economy 7 system. Hot and cold water storage removed and replaced with a Worcester 30i Combi boiler, radiators in all rooms including thermostatic radiator valve controls, Hive heating thermostat, and magnetic system filter. Lovely and warm.
