For over 15 years 😀 we have carried out repairs that not only fix a major issue but also greatly enhance the look of our customers properties and this one is a great example …………….
We replaced the broken slates on the lower roof and replaced the broken slates on the main roof which caused a leak and rotted out a 3ft section of wooden fascia , we also replaced the rotten section of fascia board and sanded and painted the fascia board and replaced the main house gutter and down pipe , we also installed new lead flashing on the lower roof 😊😊😍

I had to apologise to the team last week as I double booked us our yearly working at height and harness safety training courses 🥺🤓🫡😵‍💫 8 hours of health and safety training 🫤

We can now offer a range of cherry picker hire for the hard to reach areas ! , Chris from pro clean access Ltd provided us with access to a hard to reach chimney in ilkley , Chris has several different machines from flat bed cherry pickers to spider cherry pickers and he has a wealth of knowledge about the limitations of his machines

Winter 2023-2024 ……… thank you to all our amazing customers who have again filled our winter with lots of re roofs , we’ve had every challenge possible this winter from foam roofs to standard modern tile roofs and traditional stone and slate roofs , here are a few random pictures of the 12 re roofs we carried out this winter

Finishing touches today on this front slate re roof with new lead valleys , last year we re roofed the joining neighbours front roof to the same specifications of cromar vent 3 breathable felt and new treated latts and new code 4 lead valleys and we changed the lead hip to a fully re bedded ridge tile hip , we just have a few finishing touches and to fibreglass the lower bay roof 😊

This afternoon’s mission was to donate and hang 12 winter flower baskets in one of our beautiful local towns , friends of Silsden green places organise lots of beautiful touches around Silsden and myself and the team were so happy to do our little bit , all the baskets were made up at Skipton’s garden centre “bloom”

One of the famous houses in cracoe where calendar girls was filmed ……This one was as challenging as it comes ………… the wooden fascia boards was rotten and the tiles weren’t over hanging into the gutter correctly , we chopped back the end joists to allow rain water to fall into the gutter correctly and re built the soffit and installed new black wood grain fascia boards and soffit

We escaped the majority of the snow this week 🥶carrying out this re roof in sunny heysham/Morecambe , full re roof using cromar vent 3 pro breathable felt and new treated latts , new Marley antique red tiles , new Velux windows and dry ridge system , we still have a few small finishing touches and new lead flashing on the chimneys to do in the summer and the rear roof is having a dorma built in the next few weeks 🤗

Scaffold came down on this little beauty up on regents in Skipton last week , we braved the cold weather over the last two weeks and got two re roofs done , new cromar vent 3 pro breathable felt , new treated latts , new smooth brown double Roman Marley tiles , new dry ridge system and new dry ridge system , we also cleaned all the Fascias and soffits and installed a new front gutter and down pipe

Owl update 🦉 …… great news for these little barn owls which are nesting in one of our customers unused stables , we carefully fitted the new owl box close to where they have been nesting (picture 2 is there current nesting area) and we have fitted a wildlife camera which we will check in a couple of months and upload the pictures 🦉

Something a little different today…… we purchased a owl box from a owl charity and it is free from me and the team to a good/suitable home , the extra pictures are screen shots of the positioning advice from the owl charity

😁Another cracking job we have just finished today in embsay , this roof was only under 15 years old but was fitted with fake stone tiles , fake stone is a awful material which doesn’t last and is the reason we will never fit fake stone ………… full re roof using cromar vent 3 pro breathable felt and new batons , new brown dry verge caps and Marley smooth brown double Roman tiles , we also fully re bedded new half round brown ridge tiles 😁

😊 Another great example of a perfect re roof up on moor view way in skipton , using cromar vent 3 pro breathable felt and new batons , end joists fixed and extra supports to stop any future sagging on the end joists , new lead flashing , new Marley modern tiles and fully bedded ridge tiles with dry verge caps to finish it off , we also installed a full fibreglass flat roof to this property 😊

Real beauty this one 🤩 ………… full fibreglass flat roof using tuff stuff fibreglass materials , we added extra fall to the joists and installed new white plastic fascia boards and new gutter , fully re boarded with 18mm osb and extra strength added to the joists where needed , they don’t come much nicer than this one 🤩
