A quick message for all leaders in Wyre using office 365.

Our domain is moving tonight, here is some advice to help you along in the morning. If you still need help email [email protected]

The most common issues we’re seeing are users requiring a simple password reset to log in, and then their browser remembering their previous username and users not removing this. Users need to Sign Out and Forget their old account, and then start afresh with the new one, ideally in an incognito window to begin with.

Outlook will probably not work, but don’t worry about that for now, just get them up and running using web access at https://portal.office.com and on their phone. On phone they will probably need to remove the account and then re-add it.

This weekend saw the Lucas Challenge taking place which is an event created in memory of Lucas Backhouse. The weekend is about how we can help and support each other with our mental health and using walking as a tool to chat and listen to our friends. All the young people were amazing and worked hard in their teams to finish both walks. Saturday night we sat round the fire chatting, listening and toasting marshmallows. We even received a message from Bear Grylls. thanks to all those who helped make the event a success .

Our ADC (Beavers) has been out visiting groups again last week. On Friday, he made a special visit to 2nd Cleveleys to present one of the Beavers with a surprise ... his Chief Scout Bronze Award (the top award a Beaver can earn). The Beavers chatted about what they had done over the half term break and enjoyed an evening of games and activities as well as arranging and discussing the "Puddle and Waddle" Camp.
