We have an exciting opportunity to consider individuals with a range of experience in providing Nursing or prescribing care to clients within a substance misuse setting.

👉 We are investigating after four people in Blackpool had an adverse reaction within a short time of one another after taking he**in.

The emergency services were called to several separate incidents between 11.03am and 12.48pm today in central Blackpool.

It is not yet established whether the four incidents are linked but we are warning he**in users in Blackpool to be vigilant.

Det Insp Kirsty Wyatt of Blackpool CID, said: “We are currently investigating the source of the he**in and working closely with partners in Health.

“We would advise anyone to avoid taking illegal drugs.

"However, if anyone has taken he**in and starts to feel unwell, or experience an unusual reaction, please seek medical help immediately."

It is also advisable that users should not inject he**in when alone, so there is assistance should they suffer an adverse reaction.

On the 25th May our team attended HMP Lancaster Farms jobs fair- it was a huge success from a prison perspective. Having so many employers in the prison engaging with men with regards employment & ETE provision is amazing- Chloe demonstrated Calico job roles and support services
