Today marks the start of Baby Loss Awareness Week. We are supporting Sands, the stillbirth & neonatal death charity campaign to raise awareness of pregnancy and baby loss.
💙🩷
This Baby Loss Awareness Week 9-15th October, we are showing our support to all parents, and families, whose baby/babies have died. It’s important we speak out to break the silence around baby loss, and make sure we are able to support bereaved parents & families at this time.
This year, our team have worked with My Nottingham (Nottingham, home of the Review) and Chichester City Council (Chichester, where our office is based) to light their council buildings blue and pink in honour of baby loss awareness week.
For our Review families, we recognise that this week may be particularly difficult. If you need extra support, please either contact our team: [email protected] or the Family Psychological Support Service: [email protected]

Our next steps: continuing the Review of cases, engaging with the Trust to implement improvements in the here and NOW, family meetings, staff meetings, and providing support in any way that we can.

✋Cancer & Pregnancy Awareness Week - DAY 1 - TOUCH✋
Carrying and birthing a child will change the shape of your body. You will have to relearn how it looks and feels many times during and after pregnancy.
Touch can help you feel connected to your baby and the experience of being pregnant or post-natal. It can be an exciting way to show yourself some love and care, but can also be uncomfortable, especially if you struggle with body image.
Touch can also help you notice unexpected physical changes as soon as they appear; especially on your skin and in your breasts/chest.
💙Coming later today: simple ways to use touch to and Sarah's Story.
