We've been very quiet on the page recently. Most people who know us personally already know but for those who just follow the page back in May we lost our girl Sansa in a tragic accident whilst out working. As I'm sure most people can imagine it's been a massive loss and amongst the many emotions we've been through the last few months the grief has been pretty unbearable. We've filled our time mostly attending shows/field events racing and doing fieldsports with Jet and Lily keeping them fit and spending time with friends. Chelsey has been working hard at her photography. We have been doing some pest control on rats trying to chip away slowly on a farm with a serious number that luckily we night milk on aswell. A quick hour after milking with the dogs has proved quite affective. Our season will start in around October where we will update the page more frequently but to see the photos from our days out please follow Fox's Fieldsport Photography where you will see more regular updates and hunting photography from Chelsey

We’ve had a really really busy 6 months and as a result haven’t kept up with the page however that doesn’t mean we’ve not been out! Here’s a handful of our rabbiting trips from this season. We’ve cleared Several hundred rabbots from various farms and small holdings this winter and will continue to chip away to keep numbers down

The kits are growing well and personalities are certainly coming through now. I’ve had a soft spot for this one for a while but was reluctant to make a pick until I was sure she’s very alert and sharp and im pleased to say she will be staying. Welcome to the team Rebel 🐇🫶
Dogs marked this empty water container resulting in a nest cleared. Marking dogs are massively important in finding pest in places you’d not think to look or even just normally walk past!

Last ferreting trip for us with the ferrets now in season the rest of our rabbit control will be carried out with the lamps 🔦until next season! (so if you need rabbits clearing we can still help) The ferrets have worked their socks off clearing 100s of rabbits so now having a well earned rest.
Got asked to try clear some hedgerows with the dogs after previous attempts by people to net them failed. Pups worked well together and mopped up another 7, ferrets also dealt with a nest of kits before they added to the landowners problem. Here’s a quick clip of one of the lily gators 🐊 catches today full post to follow tomorrow 🔥

Dogs had to be sharp as not all holes were visible with the thick bracken and it wouldn’t be possible to net these warrens

Got asked to help clear a few bunnies that have been damaging some newly planted trees the team worked together to get into double figures . This ground isn’t really suitable for lamping or shooting so ferrets and relying on the dogs to find the active warrens out of 100s will be the way to tackle it!
We’ve been helping the Powys rat pack out again and doing quite a bit of ratting for local farmers . Here’s a snippet of the action from the other night and the old girl Sansa making a nice catch and quick dispatch. The terriers and lurchers work efficiently together both day and night
