It was a lovely service for our cousin Jan yesterday
For those who don’t know the connection - Jan’s grandmother was our grandfather Alfie’s,sister
Jan’s Dad Jimmy was injured in the Winter Hill air crash. Jimmy and his family lived up the road from us at Ballabrooie, so our paths crossed often.
Jan was the only person able to show me a photo with my grandfather on, for which I was grateful.
She will be greatly missed.
