British Science week has been celebrated all week by year 7 and 8 in science this week!

They have looked at the life cycle of stars, with a guest speaker, who is a Dr of astrophysics!

They have looked at the life cycle of animals.

And finally, have designed and built contraptions to save eggs when falling from height.

The final day has involved the staff dressing up as famous scientists, can you guess who any of them are?

Ms Ladha couldn't be more impressed with y11s doing kidney dissections on Friday!
Working with care and attention to conduct their investigations safely while studying the tissues and functions of the kidneys. On top of that, they then were experts at explaining their findings to another class! Absolutely outstanding work 😃🤓👏

Mr Harris has been testing out his new visualiser with his Year 7 students.

As you can tell it's worked very well and Year 7 have produced some fantastic graphs for their lesson on heating and cooling.

Mr Harris even admitted they look better than his!
