In just a few days we will be opening up the sabbatical election.

Do you have any questions about becoming a sabbatical? Do you want my job? Then shoot me a message 💛

Do you feel like it has never been harder to be a student? With the cost of living rising, the changes to the university experience during the pandemic, and the impact this has had on social opportunities, is there more you would like to see done to support students?

If you think you have the ideas that would change students’ lives, and would be interested in being a full-time paid representative of your fellow students, you could stand in out Sabbatical Officer Elections. You can take a year out of your studies to take up one of the five roles we have on offer, or take one up when you graduate in the summer.

Nominations open on the 31st January and you can find more information on the elections and the posts available at www.ausa.org.uk/elections

Perhaps did something innovative and showed a commitment to sustainability, social justice or mental health? Maybe you would like to nominate a whole team for their efforts?

If someone pops to mind, then why not nominate them in the AUSA and University of Aberdeen Excellence Awards? You have until the 31st of January to submit any nominations. The best part? If your nominee wins, then you both get to celebrate during the ceremony hosted at Elphinstone Hall!
