We had a lovely morning playing in the trees, the rain nearly held off, we painted bee stripes (Rach even painted a bee), dug holes, made mud tea, played in the hammock, and had cakes to celebrate a birthday. We have taken home some flower seeds to plant at home for the bees 🐝🐝🐝 Remember no Muddy Foxes next week as we are off.

It was a breezy morning at muddy foxes! We had melty chocolate chip pancakes warmed over the fire and they were delicious 😋 We tried some hammering this morning, taking lots of care not to hit our fingers, we were very good at it! 🤎🍃🍂💚🪵🍁

It was a frosty morning at our happy place this morning. We made a toy workshop for Santa, had a story, hot chocolate and toast by the fire. Right before we came home we went on a stocking hunt and found stockings full of treats hanging in the trees 🎄🔥🤶🎅

We had a real mischief maker join us at Muddy Foxes this week ❤️🍃🍁🍂🔥

You might have noticed that there is some work going on in our car park. This is for the new ticketless and cashless car parking payment system we are installing at Cannock Chase Forest.

The new system will use the latest number plate recognition technology and will allow us to operate more efficiently and ensure staff and funds are more focused on the important role of running the forest rather than administrative tasks.

The new system will be launching in the new year – we’ll keep you posted.

We had a lovely morning in the autumn sunshine! We made some nature shakers, spotted mushrooms everywhere, counted the sheep, listened to Melly Poppins singing a lovely autumn song, toasted marshmallows, and enjoyed hot chocolate around the fire 🔥🪵🍃🍁 🍂
