Gathered exists to ‘gather’ young people and young families to help them discover the love, joy and life only found in Jesus by becoming lifelong disciples of Christ.

In Matthew 18:20 Jesus says “for where two or three gather together as my followers, I am there among them.”

We believe that there is significance when people gather together, especially when followers of Jesus are gathered.

In the North Coast area, approximately 1 in 4 to 1 in 5 people state that they have no faith. A “missing generation” is increasingly apparent in our local churches.

As we launch Gathered - A Partnership Ministry, we wait expectantly to see what God will do and we also pray for those we meet with little or no church connection.

The local church has so much to offer people of all ages and has a great heart for children, young people and young families. It is to build on this, that we introduce GATHERED!

Come and join us on Sunday 6th October for our Harvest Thanksgiving Services - 10.30am Kildollagh & 12 noon Ballyrashane. We would appreciate any donations of dry or tinned goods for the Foodbank. "Give thanks to the Lord for He is good". Psalm 107.1

BELIEVE DAY 3

After 3 days, 7 churches and many discussions, BELIEVE 2024 comes to a close.

Thursday began with a session by Rev Patrick on the Sacraments in Kildollagh before we headed out to Swann’s Bridge for some Paddleboarding - thanks to Dan and Eunan from LongLine for a fantastic session on River Roe. We then heard the testimonies of Jess and Jonny when we looked at the topic of why and how do I share my faith. The evening finished with a reflection on the 3 days and closing praise in Ballyrashane Parish Church.

A massive well done to each young person who was involved - their contribution in each session and activity was fantastic and how openly they shared and got involved in everything over the 3 days!

Thank you to the BELIEVE team who planned and delivered a fantastic 3 days and it wouldn’t have been possible without these amazing volunteer leaders!

Please continue to pray for our young people!

GOD IS ON THE MOVE IN THEIR LIVES

BELIEVE DAY 2

This morning we all gathered at Dunseverick Parish Church where we did some blindfolded baking! Following this, Rev. Amanda led a session on the 10 Commandments. After lunch, we looked at prayer - how to pray and why we pray! We spent some time at White Park Bay where we went for a walk and played some beach games! We enjoyed our 15s this evening, then Rev. Brian shared with us about ‘The Church’ and even taught us about the robes (some of us even got to try them on). Our evening closed with Praise together as usual!

Continue to pray ahead of tomorrow’s final day of confirmation preparation.

BELIEVE DAY 1

Today began our Confirmation Preparation Days with our Partnership Churches.

With 14 young people, we began with a walk around Mountsandel Forest (after the torrential rain stopped). Throughout the day we discovered God the Father, Son and Spirit using the Apostles Creed and even included serving the local community of Harpurs Hill through a litter pick!

The evening closed with praise of contemporary and traditional hymns.

Please pray for the next few days as we complete our BELIEVE confirmation preparation days - pray for transformational moments for each young person!

Confirmation Service will be Sunday 15th September in St Patrick’s Coleraine in the evening.

Gathered is thrilled to be at Summer Madness this year again, looking at what it means to Live Life on Purpose! Hearing from the book of Ephesians and spending time lifting our voices in Praise to God, our King of Kings!

Please pray for our young people as they encounter God, spending time in Worship and engage with God’s Word!
