Haven't posted on Facebook in quite a while, so here are a few of the kind of things we've been up to.

Broken sight glass on this worcester greenstar resulted in severe damage to boiler. This is why regular boiler service is so important

Not everyday you come across a boiler this old.

Called out to a leaking boiler. Customer had previously had another company out who failed to correctly identify the fault.
Replaced cracked sump, all good 👍

This boilers condensate trap was blocked with bees, causing boiler to lockout. This resulted in damage to the electrodes which required them to be replaced. Just shows the importance of regular servicing

Another busy day of boiler breakdowns and servicing. Here's a few pictures of a full strip down service on two Remeha 210 commercial boilers. Baffles cleaned, electrodes replaced, gas valve and IMS gas air ratio control correctly calibrated 👌

Another breakdown! New pressure differential and plate heat exchanger. Customer now has hot water again. 🛀

Called out to a customer in Colchester who had no hot water or heating 🥶. Fitted new fan and got boiler back up and running.

Replaced leaking/blocked diverter valve assembly.

Diverter valve seized due to rusted screws. Not a problem, just takes a little bit of patience and a good screw extractor bit👌

The mice have clearly been enjoying living in this boiler case. Did my best to remove all waste and nest, customer now investing in a few traps 🐀

During routine boiler service, I found a split in the hose connecting the sump to the condense trap. This was allowing exhaust gas to enter the room and corrosive water to leak into boiler. Picked up a new hose and got boiler back up and running 👍

Called out to heating breakdown at a residential care home. Traced fault to defective heating pump, replaced burnt-out heating pump with new light commercial pump. Tested heating, everything now heating up nicely 👍

Old Worcester highflow boiler OUT, new Viessmann 111 with internal unvented cylinder IN. 👌

Customer reported that Co alarm was going off when boiler was in use. This was being caused by a split burner gasket. It is vital to have your boiler regularly serviced, as parts like this can be swapped out before they fail.

Poor maintenance of unvented hot water system resulting in poor water flow rate and part failure. After I replaced the defective valve the hot water flow was much better.

Nozzle replaced and photocell cleaned, intermittent lockout sorted👍

Noticed a leak on combi boiler diverter valve during landlords safety check. Informed customer and fitted new part the following day.

Carried out a service on this old Baxi boiler today. Now the old is good for sr least another year.
