You have to make time for these to ensure your page is growing.

Bring SOCIAL on social media is the biggest and most obvious trick. Engage with business/people in your niche. Support them by liking/commenting/saving their pets and replying to their stories. This builds trust and relationship and they are more likely to do it to your page.

Post on your story as much as you can daily - let us know what you had for breakfast, say good morning to your followers, create an engagement story using a poll or questions, promote your business/service/product or promote someone else and make sure you tag them 😉

When someone visits your Instagram page you have 10 seconds to make an impression.

Your Instagram bio is where your potential follower will decide if your page suits their needs and your content is good enough for them to follow you.

1️⃣ Does your profile picture stand out as part of your brand? If you’re using a logo make sure it is clear. If you’re using your headshot make sure it is with your brand colours.

2️⃣ Optimise your profile name. Your name is what is searchable in the explore page. Do not use your name. Use key words that people will search.

3️⃣ Your first line is your USP. You need to explain how you can help your viewer in the first line. What you do, who you are should be included. If you’re location specific make sure you put that.

4️⃣ if you have a catchy hashtag for your brand then use it with niche specific words.

5️⃣ Add a link to your website and make sure it’s mobile friendly (over 70% of traffic comes through mobile devices)

6️⃣ Finish with a CTA. What do you want your followers to do? DM you? Email you? Sign up to your freebie?

I often say how important it is to have branding that really represents the business and mine does not.

I’ve been working on a new name, new logo, new fonts and new colours to fit my business and what my goals are.
