Did you know that in the UK we don't celebrate fat Thursday, like in Poland?
In Poland fat Thursday was last week and we were eating lots of donuts with no guilt! As you can imagine, for some people, it's the best day of the year :)
In England we celebrate Fat Tuesday and it's commonly known as Pancake Day!
Everyone eats pancakes in any form or shape with any topping you like!
Most common choices are chocolate spread, blueberries, strawberries, maple syrup, or lemon juice and sugar, but some people prefer savory versions, such as crispy bacon, minced meat in tomato sauce or spinach and ricotta.
Whichever way you like your pancakes, I am sure you have as much fun eating them as Polish people had last week eating donuts!
