Thruppenny Bit Creations
Hand made Sgian Dubhs (Letter openers), Kilt Pins and Cuff links. Fashioned out of a single Roe Deer
About time I started making things again.
Made this for my sons 18th. Tibetan silver thistle, silver initial and Damascus steel blade.
Two finished tea light holders. Already claimed and away to a new home shortly..
First two table decorations being made up. Flat copper bent to shape soldered (Lead free) into cradles. Mild acid bath to clean them (vinegar and salt). Rinsed in soapy water dried. Antlers set with coin. Due to length of antler these will only take three tea light holders.
Well I may start making tea tree light holders out of antler and copper. Question ? I don’t want to knock the arse out of this but what would be a reasonable expectation on price. I’ve seen similar in Why Not and winter spring summer and fall and they are over £100. Thoughts, and not from My Yorkshire Friends and relis as a brass farthing and a bag of dust won’t cover it.
A alternative version to a mobile home. Better keep the tow bar just in case.
Possible new handle tops
Somebody wanted something a little more Scottish!! Charity shop buy cuff links later..
Rest day boredom
With or without the coins ?
Shiny shiny, come days off, time to make some sets up
