LETTERS TO HEAVEN: WHITE POSTBOXES INSTALLED IN SHEFFIELD

Six postboxes for family and friends to write messages to deceased loved ones have been installed around Sheffield.

The white boxes, located at cemeteries and crematoriums in the city, have been set up by a counsellor aiming to help people process their grief.

Chloe Elizabeth Hill said she wanted to install the postboxes after the deaths of her mother and her closest friend.

Sheffield City Council has agreed to have them in five locations on a six-month trial.

A sixth box is located in the privately-run Grenoside Crematorium.

Hi everyone.
Firstly, I would like to say thank you to each and every one of you that have ordered from me in the last month or so since I started up again after the birth of Hallie. Can’t believe she’s 6 weeks already 🥺
Secondly, on the Note of Hallie. Unfortunately she has contracted the RSV virus which has also caused her to get bronchiolitis. This has meant she is currently in hospital needing the support of oxygen and an NG feed. This means the orders that have been placed will likely not be made/posted until midweek when we are home.
I’m super sorry if this is an inconvenience to anyone, if anyone requires a refund and cancellation or their order I fully understand(bare with though as replies are pretty slow). For those that are happy to wait it out. Thank you.

Unfortunately having to make this post 😭
Covid has struck me! Somehow me and only me in the house has got covid-19, because of that I’ve decided to keep my ETSY store closed for the next 2 weeks.
I won’t lie, I feel rough but I wouldn’t want ti be making bows and posting them out with lergy on them so I’m staying well clear of all my bow materials and closing shop for 2 weeks.
Hope you all understand and HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

I’m very aware that Due to sickness, finally getting the keys to our home that we bought in JUNE (a full renovation project 🤢😂 if you wanna stalk the mess) and lots of other things that I can’t share yet; I’ve not really been able to make as much xmas stock as I wanted! I’ve got soo much stock to use but it will have to wait for next year, so I think it’s time to close the shop to Christmas orders from Sunday to allow time for open orders to be made.
I have so many amazing bow ideas for valentines coming and I’ll still be open for other orders but for now I think it’s fair to ensure that any Christmas orders placed today are made and posted by Monday as we’re going away for a few nights and then I’m working over the Christmas period.

Although to some it’s not a lot but over the course of this year, my bow shop on Etsy has made just shy of £1K which to a small gal like me means the world. I’m over the moon with the pals I have made through this and I can’t wait to see you all in the new year with new ideas and designs.
