Spent a cozy afternoon indoors today with this miserable weather by painting pictures of our homes. We had an absolutely fantastic day today getting our creative juices flowing and making some beautiful Mother’s Day and Easter cards! It was a wonderful way to get involved, have a blast, and make something special for our loved ones. The residents had an amazing time putting their unique touches on each card, and the final products turned out truly heartwarming.

What a lovely afternoon it has been! Going back to our childhood and getting creative with some stencils was truly a delightful experience. Had a lovely afternoon today doing some still paintings of some beautiful daffodils. 🎨🌼 Everyone did a great job capturing the delicate beauty of these flowers on canvas. It was truly inspiring to see the different interpretations and artistic styles come to life in each painting.

There's something so peaceful and meditative about taking the time to really observe and capture the details of nature through art. It was a wonderful way to spend the afternoon, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to create alongside such talented individuals.

We’ve certainly had a fantastic time here at Tollesby Hall, enjoying a delicious 3 course lunch prepared by our talented kitchen team. From homemade tomato and basil soup to a traditional roast chicken dinner with all the trimmings, and a heavenly homemade mousse with strawberries to top it all off, we couldn’t have asked for a better meal. Our guests enjoyed some wine, snowballs, and sherry, making the afternoon even more delightful. Well done to everyone who made today’s feast possible – you truly outdid yourselves!

What a lovely afternoon we had today with a visit from the local nursery Rosedene Easterside and a musical performance from Howard and his Guitar! It was such a delightful way to bring the generations together with some music and fun. Our residents always enjoy seeing the children and it's the talk of the week when they come to visit us!

Events like these really emphasize the importance of intergenerational connections and the joy it brings to everyone involved. It's heartwarming to witness the smiles and interaction between our residents and the young children. It truly brightens up our day and creates lasting memories for everyone.

We are so grateful for the local nursery for bringing the children over and also to Howard for sharing his musical talent with us. It was a wonderful experience for everyone!

What a fantastic afternoon out at The Mill Pub,Stokesley! The delicious food, amazing pub atmosphere, and outstanding service from the staff made our experience unforgettable. Our residents were thoroughly accommodated by the great staff, who went above and beyond to ensure our visit was enjoyable.

We indulged in some traditional fish & chips with mushy peas, and some of us even pushed the boat out and enjoyed some tasty scampi. The food was absolutely delightful!

I highly recommend The Mill for anyone looking for a great dining experience. The atmosphere and service were top-notch, and the food was simply divine.

Thank you to the staff for making our visit so special! We will definitely be back soon.

What a fantastic day at the Hollywood Bowl today! Had such a blast bowling a few frames and then enjoying a delicious pizza and salad to top off our fun day. The company was fantastic and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. Nothing like a little healthy competition to keep things interesting 😉

Today was so much fun making some delicious pizza rolls. filled with BBQ chicken & bacon with onion & peppers. also along with a tasty tomato meat feast consisting of ham, pepperoni & sausage with onion & peppers. It definitely got messy, but it was a great way to keep our hands busy and have a delicious treat at the end. We had an absolutely fantastic visit from Tom Powell today, and it was the first time he has ever graced us with his singing talents. It was a joy to hear him perform, and we all had a wonderful time singing along to the tunes of The Drifters, Frank Sinatra and some classic carols too.
