I think the time between Christmas and New Year is a blur of eating cheese straws, watching tv and doing jigsaws. Oh and drinking baileys hot chocolate.

Sleep is essential for health.

Without it, it impacts on everyday life so much and you can start becoming ill.

We all are usually far better people if we’ve had sleep. I know I am 😊

Dakota Johnson recently told the Wall Street Journal that she can't function without at least 10 hours of shut eye each night.

She also says that sleeping 14 hours is easy for her. 😴

As always, you never know what may happen with the postage gods BUT these are the last dates to ensure you get your Tessie presents before Christmas. 🏃‍♀️

Cute as a ... Corozo Button 💁🏼‍♀️
Eco friendly, natural buttons 🙌🏻

For Tessie, I knew I didn’t want plastic buttons and after a little researching, BAM 💥, I found out about Corozo.

It comes from a magical tree in South America, which has been fruitful (yep, went there) from both an ecological view and an economical aspect. 🌳🌳🌳

Corozo is ecological as these buttons are natural and not plastic but also no trees are cut down so it’s a major win for the rainforests! 🙌🏻
Then, it’s economical for the locals who harvest the nuts from the Tagua trees as Corozo is far more profitable for them to farm.

Mental health and sleep go hand in hand 👇

Top tip: ✨Now, it’s not necessarily achievable to do every one of these at once but incorporate the odd one here and there until they’re a habit and you can build on them from there.

1. Keep a consistent sleep-wake schedule.
2. Limit blue light from screens before going to bed.
3. Make your bedroom relaxing.
4. Mouth taping - breathing through your nose has numerous health benefits, including reducing anxiety.
5. Avoid alcohol & caffeine in the evenings.

Small changes like, not snoozing your alarm or sleeping with the window ajar are all small steps which will improve your sleep, that in turn improves your mental health.

Last month, I stayed with my lovely friend, Sarah, and before I started getting ready, I thought, this mirror lengthen my legs.
