Getting ready for the little human's arrival...
Nothing like a bank holiday weekend for some painting and last minute prep!
Also managed to squeeze in an appearance at a surprise birthday party and a BBQ, making the most of every bit of sunshine βΊοΈ
HOME π‘
Your home is exactly that, yours!
You pay for it, maintain it and fill it with all the things you love.
It doesn't have to be perfect, or anything like the houses you see on social media. It might be full of kids or animals or crafts and projects.
The only thing that matters is that your home works for you.
When I declutter and organise with you, my goal is to keep all the love and personality in your home and only take away what's not working.
Your home should be safe, comfortable and allow you to live well in your space β€οΈ
MOTIVATION
Did you know that motivation comes from doing?
You need to do something, start somewhere, to get yourself going.
It doesn't have to be a huge job or project, it can be a small task.
It's achieving something that creates momentum.
And when you 'do the thing' you feel good, and you're more inclined to keep going.
So if you want to make a change, get started, just do one small thing...
Empty the bins
Create a little bit of clear space
Tidy out a drawer
Make the bed
Clean that gross toothbrush holder/soap dish!
Pay a bill
Make that phonecall you've been putting off
Seemed appropriate to share this quote.
Nothing quite like a smart, fierce, driven woman who wants to leave a legacy.
To all the artists, activists, speakers, challengers and disrupters, keep going π

Cute milk this week! π
Hope you are being kind to yourself this festive season β€οΈ
Such a peaceful and lovely Sunday so far. After a really productive week with lots of 'people-ing' it's exactly what I needed.
Managed to get motivated to do a quick workout this morning. Made some tasty food, and plenty of tea, as always π
Joining in with with this pic β€οΈ
Hype coffee!
It's been one of those weeks where you realise how far you've come.
I have crippling imposter syndrome and anxiety about many, many things. It can be exhausting. But this week I worked so hard to be present, believe in myself and keep the boundaries I've been working on.
It's something you have to practice every day, accepting how you've changed and you're not the person you used to be. Building good habits, letting things go.
This year has really pushed me to my limits. I have experienced so much loss and heartache. Old me would have struggled to carry on, got angry that I wasn't back to 'normal' quickly enough, said and done things I regret. But this year I let my mind and body rest and heal, for as long as it took.
I guess I just wanted to say to you out there, what I said to myself this week.... you're a bad ass!

Simple sundays πΏ
Do you get lost in the moment? Do you notice the little things?
I love this description, rain especially, gets me every time β
It's good to slow down sometimes, life doesn't have to be busy 24/7 and full of plans.

Love it when the light pours in like this πππ
A bit of rain and I'm already thinking about autumn days..... fires, blankets and hot chocolate! Anyone else?
I love the sun and long days but there's nothing like getting cosy after frosty walks πππ
Happy hump day!
Anyone else really enjoying the rain and cooler temps? Felt like I finally slept properly lastnight.
Also means I can have a soak in the bath without sweating π
Got some decluttering jobs to do this week, a potential new client to book in and progress update on the lean-to/neighbours extension....
Watch this space π€
Anyone else having their summer holiday in the garden this year? π
So grateful to have this outdoor space to relax in.
Feeling proud of myself for making it to PT on Monday and yoga today at 6.30am, despite feeling rough and definitely not wanting to. I'm not one of those people who loves to exercise, I do it because I need it for my physical and mental health. Sometimes we have to do stuff we don't like much, for the greater good!
Hope you're OK, stay hydrated π₯€

Morning! A sunny Saturday, and it's my birthday π₯³
We're having some time with family and friends this weekend after a busy few weeks, looking forward to good food and catch ups.
Cleaned the kitchen lastnight so I wouldn't have to do too much today, love it when the sun streams in on clear surfaces! π
Have a great weekend, whatever you're up to β€οΈ
Very excited that the cheese plant has grown a new leaf!
When we got a new bed and moved all the rooms around I realised I wouldn't have the same space under the spare room bed for my repurposed drawers. Also needed a temporary home for towels while deciding on the best spot for them, so I used one of the drawers on its side, both storage and side table for mr.cheese ππ
Happy Wednesday friends, hope you're taking care of yourselves β€οΈ
A bit of Monday motivation for you...
Hope you're doing OK out there, it's a strange time we're living in, look after yourself β€οΈ
Anyone else love a door?!
This little beauty was in the courtyard.
Hope you're having a good Saturday βΊοΈ
Little one passed away peacefully at home lastnight π
The little room β€οΈ
I like a small space, and I've moved things around in here a few times since we moved in. I think it feels quite nice to cosy up in a little bedroom. Finally got some shelves up this weekend!
Hope you've had a great weekend π
Another Saturday with all the doors and windows open, my favourite! π₯°
Habits...
Have you ever seen so many aliums?!
Stumbled across this incredible back garden yesterday, walking down the coast π
I love those days when the light streams in, all the windows and doors are open and you feel like you can breathe....
Anyone else?

Dreamy patio! π
Staying with family in Scotland this weekend and their home is very special. It's full of treasures from travels around the world, curated in every room and decorated so well but is lived in and wholesome.
They are wonderful hosts and always put little fresh flowers in the room, lovely soaps and little touches to make it comfortable.
I love this lamp and hexagonal table against the dark wall. I'm staying in the new addition to their plot, the 'District Surveyors Office', which is going to be an airbnb! It's not quite finished but Im definitely going to show you a few pics...

Hello π
A little reminder, slow progress, is still progress.
Sometimes the days feel long and your goals seem a long way off.
Keep going.
Success looks different for everyone.
If you do one thing each day that gets you closer to peace, balance and the life you want to live, then that's a huge achievement!
I've set myself a goal to drink more water. I've always struggled with this, I can drink tea all day every day but water, for some reason, is a challenge...
I got a bottle with markers in it to help me sip throughout the day, and it's working!
β€οΈ
Soft blankets and sunshine π₯°
Don't be put off by the task ahead, start somewhere and keep going, a little at a time.
Soon you'll see things getting easier, more clear space, more room to move and breath.
Progress not perfection β€οΈ
Slow Sunday morning, sheltering from the cold in bed, listening to the birds and drinking tea β
Just realised that most of April, May and June weekends are booked up with plans. How did it get so busy again?! Thinking back to this time 2 years ago and things were so different. Lucky if you got out for your 1hr of freedom and fresh air!
How things have changed...
Hope you have a good day β€οΈ
