Lightweight steel frame making excellent progress in week one of being on site.

Perimeter of level 2 panels are now erected and well on track for Level 3 to commence in 10days time.

A fantastic score last weekend with a 3-1 win away with Wem Town FC!
Both played a massive part in the game.
Ben securing management man of the match with a penalty save just before half time to keep us ahead and some dangerous long balls over the top.
Shawn scoring two of the three goals and being a vital player throughout. Looking very composed in a central attacking midfield role.Securing the club committee man of the match.

Last week we welcomed onto our Bastion Point site in Liverpool.

MetStructures will be erecting the light weight steel frame to levels 2-6 of this development over a 16 week programme.

Looking forward to seeing this frame go up at speed!!

Substructure brickwork commenced on The Lyceum this week.

🎭1900’s - 2023 🎭 The Lyceum Manchester is looking slightly different👀 Here is some history 📇. It opened in 1899 it had three tiers and was decorated throughout , with the “Seven Ages of Man”theme. Originally intended for Shakespeare plays and opera. It soon became popular for variety and novelty acts. It became a cinema in 1932 and later changed to the Crown theatre.

We are currently working on this so follow us to keep up with the journey 👷🏽‍♀️. .co.uk

Had the pleasure of welcoming Mitchell Walsh the Managing Director of our client Integritas Property Group onto The Lyceum scheme yesterday.

Here’s our latest drone footage of progress from site over the last week.

Final section of demolition will be completed over the next 7-10 days followed by our Groundworks contractor commencing the sun structure works.

👷🏼‍♂️Construction Update👷🏼‍♂️

With the enabling works approaching completion we now have a full scaffold retention scheme in place, completed drainage diversion, full site compound and demolition well underway.

Commencement of the main contract works will begin in the coming weeks with boundary retaining walls and foundations.

🎭 The Lyceum Theatre, Manchester 🎭

First time gaining access to the higher levels of the facade on this wonderful building and getting close up to some of the incredible stonework produced prior to 1898 when the building was constructed.

Over the next 12 months this facade will be retained, repaired and cleaned as part of the development of 82 new apartments.

The mass filling of the basement with concrete to add stability to the facade is well under way.

120m3 of foam concrete being installed by which will strengthen the footings allowing for the demolition of the building leaving only the 2 facades standing.

The skills of this machine driver are incredible, credit to your men Austin Wilkinson 👏🏼

So far I’ve watched him remove a mattress spring from rubble, a piece of 8mm bar from a pile of timber and a piece of cloth from a pile of Waste metal.

Bet this guy makes his sandwiches using this machine in a morning!! 🥪

When the demo lads take over, they take over!!

Been very quiet here on lately however, Abrey Construction Ltd are delighted to announce that we will be commencing works on site at The Former Lyceum Theatre in Eccles, Manchester very shortly.

We will be commencing with the enabling works package and have appointed a collection of experienced specialists to carry out the initial works on site which include;

Asbestos removal - Oakmere Group
Facade retention - Allied Access
Demolition - Austin Wilkinson

A lot of work has gone into this one behind the scenes and it is one we are looking forward to!

Had the pleasure to spend the evening with AAG Events Ltd & The Events Room Ltd on Wednesday night in Wrexham, accompanying the Fab 4 ex Welsh Internationals Shane Williams, Mike Phillips, James Hook and Lee Byrne into Wrexham town for a “few more drinks” 😅

Followed by fantastic hospitality once again from The Events Room Ltd in Cardiff pre and post game where Shane Williams and Lee Byrne as guest speakers still recovering from Wednesday night 😳😂

We are delighted to have commenced work on the delivery of a new manufacturing plant on behalf of Pakawaste Ltd.

The new 30,000 ft2 building will benefit from state of the art technologies and renewable energy sources.

Design stage is now well underway and we hope to be on site by the summer.

🌟 NEW PROJECT - CREWE 🌟

Delighted to be awarded the refurbishment of a local cricket club in a bid to bring them well into the 21st century.

Abrey Construction Ltd are taking on the design and build of this project to completion in preparation for their new season.

This is only a small job for ourselves but just as important to the companies growth plans.

Looking forward to making a start in February and delivering this for our client.
