Pointless
There was a time in life
That I use to feel so good
Lately I have been sitting in the dark
MY life has gone so wrong
My life is pointless
Yes it is pointless
The walls are caving in
My time is running out
There so much on my mind
Words You Say To Me
I was once with a girl
Our love use to be so strong
we were never apart
This should of been for life
But then that changed
When you ripped my hear apart
you always said you loved me
But you know what I believe
Actions speak louder than
The words you say to me
When I first met you
I knew it was to be
WISH SHE COMES HOME
On the day that she left him
She said she had enough
She said she didn't love him
And she never really had
What had he done to her
He keeps walking down the road
The wind is blowing wild
Seeing her walk out
It is still on his mind
WHY DID YOU DO THAT
It was back in the summer of 1992
The love they had was so strong
They never was apart
It was supposed to stay that way
Till she broke his hear that day
She always said she loved him
She said she never go away
She said she would never hurt him
WHAT HAPPENED
There was this girl that I knew
I had know her for a while
She just lived down the road from me
But she never stayed inside
Her house this girl
Always sat outside
Now as the time has gone on
This girl has not been seen out
For the past two weeks
What has happened to her
Now what has happened to this girl
She use to be always around
I use to see her down the town
WHAT DOES HE DO
He woke up this morning
It was a bad start to the day
The oldest girl was shouting loud
The neighbours will complain
Just like the other day
That what they always do
He doesn't know why she does it
She's been acting really bad
He tries to sit and talk to her
To see what's going on
But she doesn't want to know
WHAT DID I DO TO THEM
Back when I was 18 years old
My life was so very glum
I had been knocked hard in the head
And cracked a few bones
I looked a complete mess
I always stayed at home
No one ever came round
Mum had gone off to work
And my dad had left town
I use to feel so cold
When I was at home
TRIED AND TRUSTED
Darling I never thought
I would feel like this when I first met you
Before I met you
I always kept my feelings in
Thinking to myself
Could I ever trust you
But I never knew
THIS IS WHY
I have been sitting at the local park
And I have just walked out again
I have had about just enough
And I don't want to go back there again
Because you are not listening to me
Not listening to me
You may think I am begin nasty
Because you don't really like what I say
SOMEDAY
The other day I left her at the platform
We just had a lovely day
I did not want to leave her
But it was the only way
We will have to change that some day
I know she does not want to leave
I know she just wants to stay
PLEASE DONT PUSH ME AWAY
I looked at you the other day
You are looking so hurt
After what you have seen how can I take the pain away
Your head has been all over the place
I hit you so hard
You say that you may never be the same
At first you was strong
But as time went on you were crying all the time
Don't push me away
Please don't push me away
I know it has broken you in two
IT'S TIME TO GO HOME
It's a dark Monday night
I'm sitting in the park
The wind is picking up
And the rain is coming down
Maybe it's time to go home
Maybe it's time to go home
I come here every week
I where I write the best
I always have the inspiration
When I am at this place
I DONT WANT TO GO HOME
It 8 30 at night
I have been walking through the town
The rain is pouring down
And I am feeling really cold
But I don't want to go home
I have been going to a house
Where I really don't want to be
It not the same place
To when I first moved in
I CAN SEE THE LIGHT
I once met this girl we started off as friends
But as the months went on
I really feel in love with this girl
But the problem is I am with someone
I have never met someone like this girl before
She has really helped me out
With everything in my life
And I know that she will always be there
She acts like a girlfriend to me
This is my first poetry book that I wrote back in 2019

Town Life
The bins in the town they are always full
The bin men are late
Or they are just not coming at all
Maybe they are on strike like they always are
Walk By The River
A walk down by the river
Sheep are in the field
No ducks swimming in the river
A couple seen on the river bank
A canoe is going down the river
The boy says to dad that went really fast
Through The Dogs Eyes
A dog from Warwickshire
Who has big black spots from head to his paws
His master is out at work
So his mistress and boy look after him
Running around the garden with the boy by his side
His mistress looking from the kitchen window
As they both go down the slide
Visit To The Park
Ducks are swimming in the pond
Geese are eating bread
Thrown by the children who thought it was fun
They are out on a school trip
The sun has started to come out
The day is going to be bright
The Cat
Out in the garden the cart rolls in the grass
Trying to get rid of the itch
Then a bird flies past
He starts to scratch on a tree to sharpen his claws
Then to watch the bird he starts to climb the tree
Balcony View
standing out on the balcony
Looking over the field there are no sheep this morning
Just the big tree with branches hanging low
Sky is blue today with a few wispy clouds
Sun is out but not too bright
You can still feel a chill in the air
Holiday With You
Walking along the sea front
They are here for the week
So excited to be here there's so much to see and do
Arrived late last night
There was a real big queue
When coming out of the airport
Staying close together so no one got lost
Moments On The Farm
Green grass in the field
Church bells ringing close by
While the cows munch their hay
The farmer's wife collecting eggs
Which have been laid by the chickens
On a cold and bitter day
Sunday Afternoon
Sunday afternoon along the country road
Watching the cyclists go past
Sun is shining car roofs down
Cows in the field chewing the grass
Others laying in the sun
Baby calves hiding away
Sun is too much for them today
Beautiful Again
A town once so quiet
You could hear a pin drop
No water in the river bank all had dried up
Because no rain had come round
Shops had all been shut up
That because no tourists have been coming to town
It had turned into a sorry sight a plane was made
A Walk With The Kids
Sitting on a wooden bench
Watching three tall fir trees blowing in the wind
Children playing with stones
Mum and dad sat chatting talking about the day
Then a chat about the week ahead
A train can be heard from afar
The little girl shouts daddy train
Perfect
A walk out today
They have been walking for miles
Their feet are feeling tired
But unable to find a spot
For their blanket to go down they walk past a field
where the cows are mooing away
The sheep are bleating together rounded up buy the sheep dog
Searching
Before I knew you my confidence was low
Days I felt like giving up kept thing to myself
That I was know good for anyone nights spent alone
Even though my friends asked me out
Told them I was too busy went through many relationships
A View Through My Eyes
A car is heard back firing down the road
A sofa and other household items
All dumped down the side
The council will not come today
As no one has rung to take it away
A lady over the way taking pictures of a house
Another one going up for sale just like the other day
Taking pictures of a bungalow
That the second one now.
High Street
Walking up the high street
It has started to become bleak
Shops are closing all too frequently
Others are struggling day to day
Growing up Woolworths was fun
A big selection of pick n mix
So much better than what is sold now
At least back then they was not as tight as they are now
Birds
A pigeon on the corner
Up high on a flat roof
Suddenly flies away
As seen another pigeon over the way
Blackbird flaying around
Suddenly goes to the ground
Where he see a nice juicy worm
Sounds
Lights go on everyone has been woken up
By the car alarm going off
People at the door wondering whose car it is
Music been going on all night heard
from the above flat
Then shouting from the neighbour next door
Telling them to turn it down
Tough Weekend
I woke up this morning
It's been a cold sunny day
it been a long hard weekend
Not much has been going my way
it started with a loud bang
A car mounted the path it's left a big dent
On the side of the passenger door
Not Listening
A new year has begun
With new year resolutions that should have started
But instead the world is begin hit with a deadly virus
People are staying in due to the disease starting to spread
Hospitals are filling fast nurses are holding on
Others are begin infected because the demand is getting high
Thinking About You
Sitting at home all alone
There one thing on my mind
When did it start how has it been
You and me shared many times
when we were the most happiest
That will always stay in my heart
Last outing as a family was a trip to the park
Morning Lookout
Breakfast now sorted look out of the window
Seeing the road so dead
Normally so busy
Buses normally always running
Now once an hour
But today not a sound
Night workers normally about passing by on the way home
Noise
Woken up by a loud bang
Jumping out the bed
A flash can be seen in the sky
Thunder on the way just like the weather said
A noise outside on the building site
A building begin knocked down
Seaside Trip
The waves hit the rocks
Down by the sea
Seagulls fly through the air
Wildly the wind blows
As the boat sails on
Water hits the side
Just as it reaches the bay
Life On Lockdown
Stuck inside can not go out
Get fined or even arrested
If you step through the door
Stay indoors at all times
Only go out for a reason
Go for a run, walk or shop but no more than that
Night Time View
Curtains over the way are just getting drawn
The lights still stay off
Eve though it is getting dark
Ambulance can be seen but it is not making a sound
Just flashing lights as it goes zooming past
Family Day Out
Two frogs jumping on lily pads ducks are swimming around
Some are dipping their heads underwater
Pigeons are eating bread that has been left on the ground
Children are running around then go up the high slide
Once to the top they slide down fast
Mum and dad are getting things from the car
A big blanket to have a picnic on
Train Ride
Standing at the train station
The children are all excited
Because the train will be here on time
First time on the train for some
some are feeling nervous others are getting excited
Jumping up and down and racing around
It Could Be Worse
Sitting in the dark
The TV has just gone off
That was the only light
Light bulb been broken been like that all week
Rang council to report it
Kept begin put on hold by the time I got through
They was backed up with jobs
Remembering You
Looking and feeling rough
Life has started to become low
But months before it was so good
Until the day they took you away
Your cup still stuck on the window sill
Your cushion still on the chair in the same position you left it
Thunderstorm
Early in the morning it's already hot and sticky
Thunder rumbling around yesterday
More on the way today
Vehicles on the main road struggling to get through
Due to the heavy rain which caused flooding all around
