Wine of the week: Tesoro de los Andes 🍷🍇

The Malbec grapes are sourced from carefully selected vineyards in the Mendoza region of Argentina. Bonarda adding a fruity freshness to the blend.

Delightful expression of huge brambly Malbec. The nose offers an appealing, mixed spice, bramble fruit bomb followed by dark, damson and savoury overtones on the palate. The finish is smooth, rounded and nicely balanced.

Vibrant aromas of stone fruit, elderflower and ripe citrus with a bright and zesty palate of lime and grapefruit notes.

𝙁𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙯 𝙒𝙞𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙢 𝙈𝙤𝙨𝙚𝙡 𝙍𝙚𝙞𝙨𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙜

My happy place! Tasting wines for YOU to enjoy.

Last week I visited the Boutinot Wines 2023 tasting for the release of the southern hemisphere vintages that were picked back in February/March.

The nicest one was a Gremillet Champagne, Blanc de Noirs that I shall be stocking soon.

Another one I loved that I haven’t tried for a while was a German Fritz Willi Riesling which is ‘off dry’ - it’s just arrived in stock.
