It’s all starts with a sketch

Christiaan, our creative director, will often sketch out ideas with clients during a meeting.

This helps us to understand things the client does and doesn’t like as well as setting early expectations of how the space may work.

We can only do this because Christiaan has over 2 decades of experience designing high performance entertainment spaces. He can visualise potential seating layouts, screen size and speaker positions before we begin detailed modelling of the space.

Using the CEDIA Immersive Audio Design recommended practice exactly as it was intended, as a reference guide during a new design concept.

After teaching audio design in the USA recently, it’s nice to be back in the office practicing what we preach.

We’re over the moon to have been shortlisted in the 2022 CEDIA awards for our luxury private cinema “The Expanse”

This room needed every last bit of our technical knowledge to provide the highest performance from a challenging space.

It’s a room our client absolutely loves and uses several days a week, so really we’ve already won no matter the award.

We love the early stages of new designs. We have to establish how everything the client needs is going to fit into the space. Then the room goes off to two separate teams…

The interior design team will create a concept and produce 3D renders for the client to see exactly how the space will look.

The Technical team will specify the correct equipment to make sure we deliver world class Audio & Video performance in every seat

Sneak peak of some progress on our current Home Cinema build. After several weeks preparation it’s now clearly starting to look like our 3D model

Before and after… because design matters.

Our client had a Cinema room installed ignoring all design rules, leading to a poor movie watching experience.

Using the same equipment, we helped them turn the space into a less formal Media Room. A place to spend quality time with family and enjoy movies and games together.
