A recent study in the British Journal of Sports Medicine suggested just 30–60 minutes of muscle-strengthening exercises each week can help you lead a longer life. 💪
As with many studies, more research is necessary to clarify the results. All the data consulted focused on muscle-strengthening exercises such as resistance, strength, weight training and callisthenics, but not on muscle-strengthening activities such as carrying heavy loads and heavy gardening. 💪
It may be revealed that these everyday workouts also carry the same benefits — that really would add some extra benefits to our chores and hobbies! 💪
