Back with a bang, that's POLE! 🏆

We've only gone and done it, that's P1 for the race later today. First up we've got the cancelled race from Outlon Park at 12:15 where I'll be starting 3rd on the grid.

A huge amount of effort has gone into getting the car up to speed to be able to challenge for first and I can't thank all the BSR - Ben Sharpe Racing boys and all my sponsors enough for sticking with it.

It's time for round 5 👏

We are back! After a nasty shunt last time out at Croft we're back at Silverstone for the Civic Cup and I cannot wait to get back out there!

It's been a joint effort to get the car fixed in time and I'd like to send a massive thank you to Geoff Edmundson from Annfield Auto Services, Onamission, Turan from Skins Vinyl, Ben Sharpe Racing and of course all my sponsors. ❤️

We've got 4 races this weekend including the cancelled race two from Oulton Park and a full day's testing tomorrow to shake the car down.

Croft. A track I love to drive but a track that has bitten me both times I've raced here.

After getting into the lead of a very wet race 2 I ended up off the track and into a wall at 90mph. It was my own mistake after just glancing a wet kerb which caused the car to snap into a wall at the fastest part of the circuit. Big crashes in the wet is something we see a lot in this championship and something which could easily be avoided with the option of a tyre that can actually clear water. I was one of many people to have an accident in that race but to do it from the lead after such a tough season so far is absolutely gutting.

I want to say a massive thank you to everyone who made sure I was okay after a scary crash and also everyone at BSR - Ben Sharpe Racing for pushing and working tirelessly weekend after weekend to get us back up the front. We've learnt a lot this weekend and even though the results haven't shown it I think we're only going to be faster heading into the final few rounds.

The car has seen better days, it's battered and bruised but it is fixable and I'm hoping that we can pull everything together to get back out there.

We're back! Time for Round 4 👏

It's been a while since I was last out in the Civic but it's time to go racing once again this time at Croft Circuit in North Yorkshire.

It's a circuit of mixed fortunes for me. A track where I hold the lap record but also the track that nearly ended my season last year with a huge crash...

After a test day a few weeks back with BSR - Ben Sharpe Racing we've made some big progress with the setup and I can't wait to show what we've got. 😉

🚨 PRODIGY DRAFT 🚨

From over 100,000 online competitors I am one of the final 32 to potentially be picked to race in the upcoming Racing Prodigy P3 series in America. 🏆

Tomorrow I'll be heading into London to the Williams Racing Fan Zone where I'll officially be selected and find out what team I'll be racing for in the upcoming series.

After competing in and winning the Racing Prodigy Shootout earlier this year I'm hoping to be one of the first picks and I can't wait to see what happens! The opportunities Racing Prodigy are creating for people in the motorsport world from all walks of life is incredible and it's such a privilege to be involved.

It's a shame the 3rd race which was live on ITV4 was cut short just as I was in a position to start putting some moves in but that's racing and you can't predict it.

Unfortunately race 2 has been cancelled at Oulton due to a medical emergency.

We finished P5 on the track up from P9 but due to a red flag we were classified P6 with a pending judicial for a car in front.

Disappointed we didn't get to try out a setup change for race 2 but postponing the race for a later date was the right thing to do considering the circumstances.

Had a great day instructing for Motorsport Vision - MSV today at Oulton Park in their lovely M4s 🏎️💨

A great mix of customers and some lovely weather to top it off!

Racing Prodigy, wow. Where do I start?

Last week I flew out to Atlanta to compete in the Racing Prodigy prodigy week shootout at Atlanta Motorsports Park. The days consisted of fitness assessments with PitFit, autocross tests, skid pad training and of course on track action in a Radical SR1 concluding in a knockout 1 vs 1 competition.

The level of competition, professionalism and fairness from the racing prodigy staff, sponsors, Primal Racing and my competitors was incredibly impressive and I can't thank everyone enough who was involved in putting this event together.

After all was said and done we came away the winner of the knockouts along with the fastest overall lap of the week despite being chucked into 3 different cars for each run. 🏆

It's still crazy to me that this opportunity came around through sim racing and I encourage anyone who is in the position to compete in Racing Prodigy's various competitions to do it. You never know where it might lead you.

I'll have more news to share on what comes next soon but it's incredibly exciting 😄

Snetterton was Hard 🙃

A similar story to Brands in round two of Civic Cup Official with a lot of little mechanical issues that we never quite got figured out until the last race.

Friday and Saturday were tough with a brake failure at 100mph causing a crash in practice and faulty dampers fresh from a rebuild causing a whole load of handling problems during qualifying and race 1. By the time we figured it out for Sunday we didn't get much chance to show the pace we had.

Race 1 - P6 ➡️ P21

Race 2 - P21 ➡️ P9

Race 3 - P7 ➡️ P4

All the team at BSR - Ben Sharpe Racing are pushing as hard as they can and the issues we had this weekend were out of our control. I can't thank everyone enough for the effort they're putting in behind the scenes.

Next up is Oulton Park, the track where I took my first win last year and probably my favourite of all the places we'll be visiting this year.

Today was a day of testing and preparation for the knockout stage tomorrow. I finished the day P2 overall only half a tenth behind P1.

Day 1 in Atlanta ✅

We arrived in Atlanta yesterday for the Racing Prodigy Prodigy Week Shootout!

The competition starts tomorrow so today we went out to explore the city and what a place it is!

Got a 6am start tomorrow straight into a fitness assessment followed by some track activities later on at Atlanta Motorsports Park

Can't wait to get started 😄

I'M RACING IN AMERICA! 🇺🇸

I'm delighted to announce that next month I'm heading to Atlanta Motorsports Park to compete in Racing Prodigy 's prodigy week. 🏆

I'll be driving a Radical SR1 along with being assessed on my mental, physical and media skills. This is all for the chance to be selected to compete in racing prodigy's inaugural racing series in the states!

This opportunity came around through competing in the iRacing Mazda Spec MX-5 Golden Ticket Series, as part of Racing Prodigy's 'e2Real' pipeline. Racing Prodigy want to take sim racers and allow them to show their skills in real life on a level playing field and allow them to chase a career in real life racing.

Sim racing is what started my journey and although I've already been fortunate enough to make the jump to racing in real life this opportunity marks the next big step in my career. To me this is the beginning of all the effort from myself and also my sponsors paying off and I can't wait to show what I've got.

I'd like to say a big thank you to SuckerPunch, Mazda, and all the other partners at Racing Prodigy for putting all this together.

Civic Cup Official Round 1

A podium and two solid results. 🏆

Coming into round 1 with no prior testing was always going to be tricky. We spent a lot of the weekend working through a couple little issues after a full rebuild of the car and although the results maybe don't quite show it I think I drove some of the best races I've had yet.

We've got a few things to fix, a new engine being top priority as we were really struggling for power this round but we'll get them all sorted and be back fighting at Snetterton 👊

A huge thank you has to go to all of the people at BSR - Ben Sharpe Racing who worked incredibly hard to fix some of the issues I had over the weekend and of course to all my amazing sponsors who allow me to go racing in the first place.

I'm super excited to announce that I'll be back in the Civic Cup Official this year with BSR - Ben Sharpe Racing !

I've had the pleasure of working with Ben a few times now, most notably at the BRSCC Driven by Racing event where I sat in as his driver coach for the day. Ben really impressed me with his approach to running the cars and, as a race winner himself, I think him and his teams’ past results speak for themselves.

2023 was a tough year for me, with lots of ups and downs, but I'm happy to be back with a new team, a fully refreshed car, and a change in mindset for the year.
