• Porsche 986 refurbished front 4 pot calipers also painted to any colour (customers choice)
• Our bracket adapter kit & bolts with HEL Performance braided lines (any colour customers choice)
• Brembo 316mm plain discs (Can be upgraded to Drilled / Slotted for an extra £15)
• Brembo Brake Pads

Pre Order Update Announcement

We apologies to all as we’re currently away on holiday with the family so haven’t been very active in Facebook or working recently. The brackets are being manufactured currently and due to arrive at the end of August / 1st week of September before they are then sent out to customers. We have had to request for a smaller batch to be produced first due to the pre orders we had received and all of you who are desperately waiting. We are doing everything we can to be as quick for you before anyone else we promise. The severe delays came from the big material change which has required us to have a sample batch made up and have had to complete testing on road and tracks days to ensure their strength has not been degraded with this material change. Of course for us safety matters 100%. We’re looking into what we could do for those customers who have been waiting for a few months to make up for these delays also but undecided at the moment. We really appreciate the support and the patience people have had for these and are we are very confident people will be very happy with the end product using the newer material. We’re asking everyone to bear with us just a little bit longer please!

That’s the HEL Performance braided hoses for all the pre orders finally sorted and now with our testing complete with our new material we’re just waiting on the first batch to arrive for everyone. Hopefully not much longer now 🤞🤞

PRE ORDERS ANNOUNCEMENT:

First off may we apologise for the delays here and lack of contact / updates and let us reassure you all we’re working hard behind the scenes to get these ready and sent out ASAP and things have been extremely busy in my day job also.

We’ve had some big delays mainly down the materials we previously used and their availability appears to be non existent right now from the 5 manufacturers we’d been approaching over the last few months. So with this in mind we’re now having to redesign and change things to support a different material which is looking much more promising.

Essentially we have a sample set being made up with a few different materials on the way but we need to ensure we test them before sending out straight to customers untested. The last thing we would want is failed adapters so we’ve just got to be extra diligent here. Of course we feel Lives matter!

We’re applying pressure to speed up things so the material sample brackets are with us any day now so we can do some stress testing and ensure we’re happy to have the big batch made up. ETA currently is the end of August as production will likely take a few weeks after our tests which of course is disappointing for us all given the estimated date was the end of June. Of course as always we’re happy to refund or cancel any orders should people wish to pull out of the pre orders but we ask / hope for you to bear with us a little longer as our pre orders number we’re lower than expected to make this happen. We’ve sadly been informed that many people have been seeking to purchase the Porsche calipers from Douglas Valley Porsche based on a price we had agreed with them a few years ago now and they have been declining to sell the calipers at £325.

We wasn’t aware of the price increase but the good news is we have been in contact and they have now agreed a price of £395 for our customers if you quote MiniBrakes at the point of ordering.

We are doing some RND work for a new Megan caliper bracket adapter kit for the R53/R56 which uses the 330mm discs. The same price with or without hoses as our infamous Porsche adapter with the same quality.

We’ve been acquired by Mods4U and we’re continuing production of this Mini Porsche big brake kit!

Whilst we’re setting up the manufacturing of this Porsche / Brembo adapter kit, We are now accepting pre orders via on our website for our next batch which we’re estimating to be delivered at the end of May.

New Porsche adapter brackets for Mini R53/R56 in stock now!

In stock after 3 months of development and testing, we've launched the first adapter that allows Porsche brake calipers to bolt-on directly to the Mini (R50/R52/R53/R56 models).

We wanted to make an affordable big-brake option for Minis, so we designed these around the cheap and readily available Porsche 986/987 front calipers. Porsche brake upgrades are common with BMW, VW and Audi enthusiasts, but we couldn't find the same level of (affordable) options for our Mini - until now.

Designed and analysed in CAD and then CNC machined in high tensile steel to within 0.05mm tolerance. Finished with a black zinc rust-proof coating. We've tested on our own cars over the summer at the Nurburgring and UK circuits - so we're confident that you'll now too be able to benefit from safe, more powerful braking without any fading on track and road - at a price you can afford.
