Liam Crowter - Labour Party
Labour Party Candidate for Baird Ward - May 24
It's been a privilege to campaign alongside such great colleagues and friends in Baird. Tomorrow is the big day, and if you do go to the polling station, please do take your photo ID to avoid disappointment.
It’s less than a week until the local elections. Have you received your postal vote ballot yet?
Don’t forget to fill it out and return it today! 🗳
Out in my neighbourhood with Helena Dollimore for Hastings and Rye and Old Hastings Labour candidate Jeremy Hicks.

There are local elections for Hastings Borough Council and the Sussex Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) on Thursday 2 May.
If you want to have your say in who represents you, you must be registered to vote, and you now must bring an accepted form of photo identification to vote at a polling station.
If you don't have an accepted form of photo ID, you can apply to the council for a free voter authority certificate, and this will be posted to you. The deadline for applying is 5pm on 24 April 2024 for these elections, but please apply as soon as possible.
If you usually vote by post or with a proxy, there have also been changes to this process, make sure you check our website to find out what has changed.

I'm proud to be standing for the Labour Party in my home ward of Baird in May 2024.
Labour's efforts to protect The Ridge Fire Station, spearheaded by our excellent candidate for MP Helena Dollimore, is hugely important for myself and other residents of Baird.
As a councillor, I'd continue to work to protect this important community asset and others across Baird ward.

The NHS has transformed lives for 75 years.
Today we thank the dedicated staff who continue to deliver lifesaving work.
Labour will embrace new technology, focus on preventing illnesses and ensure we have more care in the community to future proof our health service.
"Labour councillors in Hastings are demanding that the county council reinstates the agency agreement with Hastings Borough Council, to bring back a locally managed, more efficient service. Ali and Liam will be supporting that strongly. We need our roads maintained effectively and locally in the best possible way, not in a way that’s driven by irrational ideological motives."
Like Peter, I agree that than a Conservative county council that neglects Hastings roads and services within the community. Only Labour can and will hold the Tories in both borough and county to account.
