ANNOUNCEMENT

It is with Sadness that We have taken the decision to close our evening venture Restaurant at The Lounge.. we have decided to concentrate on the day time business and have more time for family. It’s been a rollercoaster ride and an absolute success , and we thank each and every one of you for your support! We look forward to still seeing you at The Lounge during the day.

Our last evening service will be Saturday the 24th September.

Get booked in next week for a last taste of Restaurant at The Lounge.

Our wonderful head chef Jordan Franz and bar manager Ralph Poynton are opening their own business in the near future; and we fully support them- and we can’t wait to have the time to eat their wonderful food and drink their fabulous cocktails! We will update you all on this when we can!

Candidate Duties:

- Preparing, cooking and presenting dishes, along with the general running of a section within the kitchen.
- Working with a team to ensure fast and quality service.
- Ensuring you and your team have high standards of food hygiene and follow the rules of health and safety.
- Monitoring portion and waste control to maintain profit margins.
- Maintaining all health & safety requirements and upholding a high level of cleanliness.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

48 hours, including weekends and evenings. Previous experience required.

Salary negotiable (£12-£15 per hour depending on experience)

Good morning everyone.

We will be reopening on Wednesday as planned!

It is with the upmost sadness that I write this post! 😞

Our daily covid testing regime has today identified that three members of staff have tested positive for Covid.

With the safety of staff and customers in mind we have made the decision to close both the daytime coffee lounge and our evening Restaurant@thelounge. Although everyone else has tested negative today we believe the chances of us not having further positive test results over the next few days is slim.

We are in the process of contacting everyone that has a booking for both daytime and evening and can only say how sorry we that we are unable to honour your bookings. We have many many bookings over the next few days so you can imagine how sad and disappointed we all are.

We do though believe that this is the right thing to do in the circumstances so we can prevent any transmission to customers. Thankfully the staff affected so far were not in contact with customers this week.

Covid has officially cancelled Christmas for team lounge but we will be back as soon as is possible.

Have a wonderful Christmas everyone. And thank you all our wonderful customers for your support this year!!!
