Hi all
Another good Thursday at the Valley.
We had 2 year 3 med students teach 2 classes about why sleep is important- and what to avoid and why (energy drinks, caffeine, devices etc) the children enjoyed it.
The parent and child cooking went well more parents came - total 27 this week.
We did lunches pasta salads with loads of veg, wrap pizza, and a fruity nutty peanut butter thing for dessert.

A big impact in terms of numbers we spoke to today! Big thanks to Ellie the PA again!

The NHS Health Check is a check-up of your overall health. It can tell you whether you're at higher risk of getting certain health problems, such as:
heart disease, diabetes, kidney disease & stroke.
We will ask you some questions about your lifestyle and family history, measure your height and weight, and take your blood pressure and do a blood test.
We have weekly clinics in Haslingden on a Monday afternoon at the Haslingden Community Link & in Bacup on a Friday afternoon at the Trinity Baptist Church, along with clinics in the GP practices!
