Check out this recent barn conversion completed a few weeks back 😍😍

This space was mainly used for storage, but after a quick clean & tidy it made room for this awesome home gym! 💪

A nice new 20mm rubber floor, a timber border, a slatted wooden feature wall, and some awesome LED lighting were added to really make this gym a special place to train! 🙌

Our technique barbells provide the perfect option for those wanting to safely perform complex barbell movements at lighter loads 🏋️‍♂️

If you're at the start of your lifting career or recovering from an injury, this barbell is the ideal companion.

The bar features a very comfortable, less aggressive knurling on the left & right sides of the bar with a smooth stainless steel finish across the centre. 👌

This bar also serves itself well as a lighter barbell for any isolation style movements you may want to do. Just no curling in the squat racks, ok! 😆

If you take your weightlifting seriously it will be important that your barbell has certain design elements to make it better suited for Olympic Weightlifting. ✅✅

For example, you will want your barbell to have good quality bearings, as these will allow the sleeves of the barbell to spin with reduced friction. 👌

This is especially important during Olympic Lifting, with high speed movements that require the individual to get underneath the bar quickly. 🏋️‍♀️🏋️‍♀️

The fundamentals of a home gym for anyone who is into their strength training has to be a rack, barbell & plates, right? ✅⚡️

For me, that’s a definite yes. Think of the amount of movements and exercises you can perform with a rack, bar & plates. Everything from squats to floor press, pull ups to military press.. 🏋️‍♂️🏋️

If you’re new to the home gym game and looking to slowly build up your training space, my advice would be to get the fundamentals in place first. ✅

Once you have a good foundation to your gym, you can then add in various other pieces as you see fit! 💪👍
