Our final garden transformation of the year…

This garden was originally built on clay with little to no drainage therefore making it very waterlogged, causing most of the sleepers to rot and the turfed area very squelchy hence the boards to work on.

We replaced the old sleepers with an edging and raised bed around the Acer with our favourite Old
Farmhouse bricks.

Laid a patio at the end of the garden for our customers to have a new seating area to enjoy their garden from, we used natural paving as this complimented our the style of the garden and also absorbs water through the sandstone.

We also took up the turf added drainage, and replaced it with 20mm gravel, this should help prevent the garden from flooding again, like it did after a night of heavy rainfall during the job.

Once the customers have cleaned and painted the fence in the spring, this garden is going to look lovely…

Perfect for multiple uses such as an outdoor office or a space for family enjoyment.

With exception to the doors and windows from Allglass Anglia Ltd, this building was all made bespoke on site.

Being well insulated with celotex in the walls and ceiling, it makes it comfortable for the building to be used all year round.

Thanks to FTL electrical for helping us on this project, with the first fix complete and the rest of the electrical work including internal and external lighting, and internal sockets to be connected in a couple of weeks.

Painted using Bedec: The Paint Company Barn paint, gives it a fantastic semi-gloss finish. With this paints elasticity it expands and shrinks with the timber reducing the chances of the paintwork to crack and flake off.

What a turn around! Here is a garden clearance we recently completed in Benhall…

After being neglected for nearly a year since the cottage was sold, the new owners gave us a call to come in an sort it out.

It took 4 full 6 yard skips worth of waste, and a new freshly laid lawn to turn around this jungle into a manageable traditional cottage garden.

Here is a bespoke pergola we recently built in Aldeburgh, with added panels providing an attractive way to provide some shade to the area following the customer’s specifications.

Have a look at our latest project we completed in Saxmundham, with the pictures showing progress from start to end…

Here we demolished the existing patio and wall that was cracking up, and in comparison to the new work on the small side compared to the rest of the garden!

We then built a new raised patio area laid using natural paving, retained with a beautifully curved cavity wall using old farmhouse bricks.

The beauty of having a cavity wall is it provides extra planting space which can be easily maintained at a comfortable height, therefore reducing time spent kneeling and back bending.

This has created a larger, more inviting space for our customers to entertain, dine, and relax on but most importantly to enjoy!

Take a look at this garden we did approximately 15 years ago, it is a privilege returning to customers and seeing how the garden has matured! Safe to say it’s standing the test of time and looking as good as the day we finished.

What an impact a new fence can have!

This front garden in Saxmundham was given an instant face lift with one of our bespoke fences, all handmade from scratch on site.

What a transformation!

This garden on the outskirts of Ipswich just needed a little bit of TLC to bring out its full potential…

We previously laid the artificial grass last year, then returned this year for phase 2.

We cleared the overgrown bushes which immediately opened up the garden, revealing the space we had to play with.

We built some new raised beds using sleepers.
We put in a variety of plants the customer had bought providing the garden with plenty of colour, the new fencing we put up and painted helped to enhance this by making the colours ‘pop’.

We also built some pergola trellis in one of the beds, which added screening providing privacy for both the customer and their neighbours.

The customer also purchased a piece of our unique designer trellis, which also makes fantastic garden wall art, as you can see installed on the garage wall.

Want the full effect of a living wall but without the maintenance?

Vistafolia is the answer 👍 🍃 🌳 🌸

We had previously built and planted a living wall for one of our customers, however whilst they were away during the heat of summer they had forgot to set up the irrigation system resulting in a dead wall 💀 🍂 🫣

To prevent this from happening again they decided to go down the artificial route, cutting out the maintenance but not the realism, beauty and colour of a real living wall.

See for yourself how stunning and realistic an artificial wall can look…

Our latest project completed in Brundish last week…

We dug over, weeded and levelled out the garden of this new build property. We then built 2 raised beds using sleepers. Then finished off by laying a new lawn and dug in a new boarder along the edge of the existing patio, ready for the customer to add their own planting scheme.

Take a look at these very fashionable feeding troughs (from Clarkes of Walsham Ltd) flower beds we created to disguise some unsightly concrete gravel boards for the customer.

Planted with beautiful agapanthus and lavenders from Suffolk Plant Centre and Notcutts Garden Centres, in-keeping with the customer’s blues and purples planting scheme.

Our new registered design designer trellis/garden wall art.

These are made from Medite Exterior MDF, making them long lasting with no twisting or splitting, and made to withstand extreme weather conditions.

These come primed and painted, with a range of colours available.

Our second job of the week was a couple of doors from our last job. Here we laid new pathways at the front and down the side of the customers house using natural paving to match their patio in the back garden that we had done previously.

Our first job this week was to transform the front garden/path and side pathway of this new build in Saxmundham.

What a difference… a grand entrance to match the house!

For the pathway we used Pavestone UK Limited slimsett blocks, with a linear brick edging using old farmhouse bricks.

It’s lovely to be working opposite a garden we did last year. It looks stunning and it is great to see how the plants have come on and matured.

A beautiful new build garden transformation we carried out in Saxmundham…

This garden started out as a bare lawn with a basic pathway that did not do the area justice. By laying a large curved natural paving patio, along with the steps and walls built using old farmhouse bricks, as well as the addition of flowerbeds and the bespoke timber frame seating area, this garden turned into a space full of character where the customers are able to relax and enjoy their surroundings.

Club Tropicana 2.0… Compete ☑️

What an impression our customers new front garden and driveway makes, it has certainly got the neighbourhood talking!

Here we cleared the original drive, laid a new block edging and competed the ground works ready for the resin top to then be laid by Resin Master, who’s work we can not fault thanks for your help guys!

The customers were so impressed with their low maintenance back garden Club Tropicana, that we had previously done a couple of years ago, they wanted to bring some of that design into their front garden.
So using Scottish pebbles, rocks and plenty of colour from plants and painted posts as well as our new funky designer trellis (available to purchase directly from us).

We also built a new bespoke gate, a bespoke wood store and a new fence. All of these were handmade on site.

Why not take a couple of minutes to consider how to make the most of your garden…

For example in this garden last year we laid a couple of patios providing an area for the customer to relax in full sun and a shadier area for when the sun becomes a bit too intense.

We also levelled out the garden and laid a new lawn. DO NOT forget to water lawns daily to keep them lush and green for at least 2-4 weeks after being laid! 🌱 💦

The customer wanted a quirky path laid in natural paving leading to their vegetable patch, with an adjoining piece that invites you away to another part of their garden.

We edged the pathway with tumbled setts to give it a neat high class finish.
