Thank you so much to everyone who joined us for our very first Harry Pottery parties yesterday! We loved having you all in the studio. And a special shout out to everyone who dressed up for the occasion (it was very much appreciated), to my amazing staff and of course, Dobby the House Elf!

Also, huge thanks to Miri for her amazing Harry Potter face designs—you truly brought the wizarding world to life! And a big thank you to Busy V’s Sweets & Treats for the incredibly delicious cupcakes; they were a hit.

The creativity on display was fantastic, with some truly fabulous pots being painted, all set to the perfect backdrop of Harry Potter soundtracks. Congrats to the five people who aced our quiz—your Hogwarts knowledge is impressive.. and to Ben, Emily and Megan who won spot prizes for fancy dress.

As for the butterbeer... well, let’s just say it wasn’t quite the magical brew we hoped for. We're definitely rethinking our drink options for next time.

Speaking of next time, our second round of Harry Pottery parties is happening next Wednesday! Make sure to book your places—we can’t wait to do it all over again! ✨

Our hearts go out to the families and everyone affected by the horrific events in Southport yesterday.

The pain and loss endured by those parents and families of the little girls and adults who were taken so brutally is beyond comprehension. We can’t even begin to imagine the depth of their suffering.

So, next Saturday, during our Taylor Swift pottery party, we will donate a portion of the profits to the ‘Southport Strong Together’ Just Giving appeal established to support the grieving families and those affected by the horrific knife attack. We will also have a collection on the day.

Here’s a little bit of information about The Painting Pot that may help you book some pottery painting fun during the school summer holidays:

We are open 7 days a week from 10am until 5pm Monday to Saturday, 11am until 4pm on Sundays.

Mon-Sat - We have three 2 hour sessions per day: 10am, 12:30pm, 3pm.

Sun - two sessions at 11am and 2pm.

You can easily book a table online (https://www.thepaintingpot.com/booking-form) or by phone: 01757 704784.

Please don’t assume we are full if you haven’t booked, you’re still very welcome to walk in at any time - we may have tables available for you.

Prices start at £5 up to around £60 with most items in the £15-£20 range. Kids pots are £14-£16.

Your pottery is ready to collect in 10-14 days once glazed and fired in the kiln. We text you to let you know.

We take card or cash.

We serve hot and cold drinks: tea, coffee, fruit shoot, J2O, hot chocolate, iced coffee, cans of pop and of course, our hugely popular range of milk or fruit bubble teas! So, please don’t bring your own. We also have delicious chocolate brownies, biscuits and other light snacks.

We have aircon … so if you’re looking to escape the hot weather 👍🏻😊

On a Monday evening during the holidays we have an ‘adults only’ session at 6:30pm (bookable online).

We don’t charge a booking fee but if you book and then change your mind please tell us so another customer can have your table. ‘No shows’ are heartbreaking at this time of year.

I have a little surprise planned for our Princess Pottery Party on Saturday, 17th August. We will have a special visit from a very special guest. But, ssshhh! Don’t tell the kids.

A certain Ice Princess will be dropping by for a meet and greet so plenty of photo ops. (Thank you Fairytale Encounters)

We’ve had a few ‘Play with Clay’ sessions in the studio lately.

Just take a look at a small selection of the awesome bird houses we made at our most recent members’ club workshop.

This got me thinking, would you be interested in a regular Play with Clay session, whereby you come into the studio, grab yourself a lump or slab of clay and just get freestyling creative?

We will be on hand to help with techniques but you can make whatever you like for us to fire in the kiln for you.

I just wanted to share some lovely feedback I received from a customer today about the refreshing bubble teas we now sell from the studio…🥰

"Stopped for drinks at a service station and tried a Bubble Tea. Yours are genuinely better! Theirs was too sweet, with fewer bubbles that were tougher and more rubbery. It cost almost double! …. The Painting Pot wins the battle of the bubbles! 🫧"
